“Aww, come on Babygirl. You know we won’t let anything happen to you,” Odin snickers.

“Shut it, Mew, and let’s get started.” I grumble, nudging him through the plastic strips hanging in the doorway.

The first room is full of mirrors and fog. All we can see is our reflections, the sound of banging and clanging seem extra loud in the dark. Apparently some of the mirrors are actually TV screens because randomly an image of a demon or ghost will pop up with a shrill scream.

We walk around the corner toward the next room and as soon as we do, a picture of a scary as fuck clown pops up with a chilling laugh. My big burly viking pushes me in front of him with a sound I’d expect more from Vivian.

“ARE YOU KIDDING ME, BODIE?” I screech “Did you just throw me in front of you?”

“Umm… no, no I did not,” he deadpans.

“Dude, you just used our girlfriend as a shield… from a clown. You get in the back of the group. Isla, darling, come get in between me and Silas.” Orin demands, grabbing my hand and putting me between them. Callum and Odin are in front with Bodie now in the back.

That asshole is getting wax strips from his balls to his crack for that!I chuckle mischievously to myself.

We go through the next doorway and suddenly I shriek, ducking my head and hiding in the middle of the guys. They all flinch as they look around. This room is clearly supposed to be an asylum, and in the middle is an electric chair where someone is having their fucking brain zapped.

This was such a bad fucking idea.

The room after that has everything you’d see in a mad scientist’s lab; metal tables, a chem set, coils stretched to the ceiling. There is even blood all over the sheets covering the walls and the plastic on the floor. The ‘doctor’ is standing over a chair holding what looks like jumper cables, cackling “Whoooooo is next? You look like you need my help! Come, get on my table!”

I’m pushing the guys in front of me, muttering, “GO GO GO!” Odin, Silas and Callum are laughing their asses off.

They are also getting wax strips to the balls.

“Angel, if you hate these things, why the hell did you put this together?” Bodie asks from behind me, sounding completely exasperated.

“Well, the twins mentioned how much they loved this freaking shit, so I wanted to make their birthday special. The rest of you are getting cookies because I’ll never recover from this. I think an eight on the scary scale was a bit much!”

“You think?” Bodie deadpans.

“You, shut it! You threw me to a clown, so you get no opinion on this,” I sass back.

From that room we follow the tape around to the next, although they have the sounds super loud, as well as lots of flashing lights and different things to throw off your senses in the hallway so you are disoriented before walking into the next room. I have to say, it’s definitely working.

The next area is the living room, and walking in has me wanting to walk my ass right back out. Fucking dolls.

“Nope, I’m out. I don’t do creepy dolls.” Bodie goes to back out of the room, but Silas grabs him by the arm.

“Nope, you gotta suck it up Bro-die. Isla put a lot of thought into this, so we are finishing it.”

Everywhere in the room is covered in dolls, spiderwebs, and ventriloquist dummies. “Can we please hurry the fuck up and get out of here?” I hiss.

As we are walking by a table set up with a tea party of four creepy life sized dolls, one jumps up and robotically says, “Play with me!”

I scream like Crowley’s hounds of hell are on my ass, push Bodie towards the terrifying thing, and run to the exit. Distantly over the cacophony in the hallway, I hear the other four assholes laughing at me and Bodie. The latter screamed as well, which makes me feel slightly better.

“Isla darling, are you okay?” Orin asks, trying to hide his smirk as he joins me.

“I fucking HATE creepy dolls. Where are the others?” I ask, snuggling against him for a minute to calm my racing heart.

“They had to pick up Bodie’s big ass off the floor,” he chuckles. “Did you really push him towards the scary doll?”

“I sure the fuck did. I thought it was only fair, since he pushed me first,” I smile smugly.

The rest of the guys come out of the room supporting Bodie, who is glaring at me. “Not funny Angel!”

“That was payback, asshole.” I turn to head towards the other room, which is the other half of the asylum. I’ll need to check myself into one after this.
