I start to wonder what it would have been like if the kids were theirs biologically. What it would have been like actually having partners that wanted me to be pregnant. Maybe I can see if the guys would be willing to do IVF. Despite having an ectopic pregnancy and my other tube being damaged with all the trauma I went through, I’m kinda having baby fever.

Too bad Tylenol doesn't help with that.

The kids ride around all morning, only stopping for bathroom breaks and snacks. Around eleven thirty, the guys have the boys follow them back towards the house. I whip up a quick lunch that we can munch on before we have to get ready for the party.

“Do y’all want something to eat before we get ready to go kiddos?” I ask my tiny humans as they come running over to me.

“Yeah momma, I hungry,” Vivian answers for all of them making me chuckle at her cuteness.

“Alrighty then babe, let's go eat!” I usher them towards the kitchen, since I only have an hour and a half to feed, bathe, dress myself and all three kids, and still be able to make it to the party on time. I am thankful once again for all the extra helping hands now.

Exactly one hour and twenty minutes later, we pull up to the Family Fun Center. Bodie, Silas, and Orin each hold a child as we head toward the front door. Odin, Callum, and I are all loaded down with bags, and my grandmother is pushing a service cart with the cake and other treats.

This place is massive, so we all file in the door and head to the front desk, where the teenage girl working the desk greets us cheerfully. “Hey there, I’m Rachel! Welcome to The Family Fun Center! Are y’all here for a party?”

Nodding at her I reply, “Yes, it’s for Arden’s sixth birthday.”

She looks it up in her computer, and then tells us, “We have y’all in the green room, our biggest one. It’s upstairs, so if you follow me I’ll show you where it is and your party host will be there shortly to help y’all set everything up.”

We follow her up to the room where there are a couple of teens waiting. After Rachel walks back downstairs, the new girl–who is probably sixteen–walks over and introduces herself. “Hey, I’m Ashley, and over there is Jared. We will be your hosts today, and we will help you get everything set up and whatever else you need.”

“Awesome, that sounds great. Do we need to get armbands for the kids so they can go play?” I ask as I set all of my bags down.

“Yes ma’am, I have them right here, plus the ones for all the party guests.” She hands over the bands for the kids and I pass them over to Silas and Orin since they are in charge of taking the kids to play while the rest of us set up.

It takes no time at all with three of my guys, my grandmother, myself, plus Ashley and Jared helping to get everything set up. Just as we are putting out the last of the gift bags, Arden comes running in with a couple of his friends from school and I start handing out the arm bands.

I decide to stay up in the party room to greet all the parents with Bodie and Maw-Maw while the others go with the kids. With everything going on with Heather, none of us want them out of our sight.

Within about twenty minutes after the start of the party, we had twenty-five kids total show up. Thankfully, in this room, the back wall is made of glass so I can see the kids downstairs when they are inside. I can tell from here how much fun they are having by the big grins on their faces. None of them ever had real birthday parties before, so I’m so thankful I get to give them this.

I suddenly feel hands wrap around my waist, and I’m pulled from my inner musings. “What are you contemplating so hard, Angel?” Bodie whispers in my ear.

Turning to pull him into a tight hug, I reply, “Just thinking about how happy I am. These last couple of months have been so wonderful. Finding you five has completely changed my life. I love you all so much, and watching my kids get the dads they deserve makes it so much more amazing.”

He kisses my forehead and smiles down at me. “We love y’all too. I never really thought about having kids, but those three have shown me how much of a blessing being a parent can be. I’m so thankful for you giving us a chance.”

“Alright now love birds, are you about ready to do cake and gifts, and then the kids can play a little longer after?” my grandmother asks, smirking at us.

“Yeah, that works. We can load everything while the kids play,” I agree, before going to find Ashely so she can call for all the kids.

Ten minutes later, the room has descended into pure chaos, and we are just shy of thirty kids including mine. Trying to get them all calmed down so we can pass out treats and drinks has been insane. I’m going to need a drink after this.

After we finally get all the kids in seats, I shout, “Listen up! Raise your hand if you want CHOCOLATE cake or cupcakes.” Bodie goes around passing out the treats as I have them raise their hands. When everyone who wanted chocolate has theirs, we repeat the process for the kids who want vanilla.

After all the kids have their treat and drink, I’m standing by the table grabbing a cupcake for myself when one of the other kid’s mom walks over. I think she said her name was Savanna. She is a petite curvy mom with a beautiful smile, blonde hair, and green eyes.

“Hey Isla, where did the cake and cupcakes come from? They are amazing,” she says, gesturing at the table.

“Actually Bodie made them. My kids have allergies so he insisted on making everything himself,” I tell her proudly.

“Oh, well do you think I could hire him to make Asher’s cake next month?” she glances over towards the man in question.

“Let me ask him. Hey Bodie!” I call out to get his attention. “Can you come here for a second?”

“What’s wrong Angel, did you need something?” he asks, brushings a kiss across my temple.

“Oh no, I’m fine babe. Savanna was wondering if she could hire you to make Asher’s birthday cake next month,” I grin at him.
