Chapter Twenty

“Anything worth doing is worth doing slowly.”

—Mae West

When Andros answered, he did so as a man.

For the first time since as far as his memories could stretch, he took full human form. Standing naked and shaking, aroused and vulnerable, before this tiny woman.

At once a stranger and a soulmate.

Heknewher.

Even if he didn’t remember.

And he knew his answer before the word formed upon his lips:

“Yes.”

His reply rumbled through his body, deep and abiding. Truer than anything he’d ever said.

It was a promise. A vow.

Even death could not break it.

He lowered his face to hers, foreheads together, noses touching. And simply breathed her in.

“Divina,” he uttered low, testing the name on his tongue, shuddering with a wave of yearning and unbearable passion at the sound of it.

Soright.

He didn’t remember her, but his body remembered coming apart with the sigh of her name on his lips.

“My woman.”

And that was when she stretched up on tiptoes, arms wrapped tight around his neck now to pull him even closer—

She gave him his first kiss.

Now, with a whisper of petal-soft lips and a sweet, breathy moan.

Andbefore.

Andros had never kissed another, and he knew he never would.

He washers.

His body remembered even as his mind reeled with confusion. His body knew exactly what to do.

As he slanted his mouth over hers, and angled her face for better access. Deeper penetration.

When he thrust his hot tongue between her pouty petals and undulated deep inside the silky, wet recesses of her mouth. Lapping at her sweetness. Making her clutch him so tightly, her nails dug into his nape.

Hotly possessive.

Intensely wanton.

He devoured her mouth in bold, driving strokes. Dueling his tongue with hers. Rubbing their sensitive flesh together, biting softly as a primal growl reverberated in the back of his throat.
