We all settled fully into bed, cuddling into the night until sleep claimed my men, one by one. I was close to sleep myself, drifting between wake and dreams, and I couldn’t stop smiling. I was the happiest I’d ever been in my life.
Tomorrow was completely unknown. The high warlock would hunt us down, one day soon. I could sense the danger coming for us. But for this moment, I had all three of my men, safe and sound in my bed.
