“Yes!” I moan, my head falling back.

He strokes me possessively as I slam back down on his cock one more time, my body shuddering as my orgasm washes over me. His cock thickens even more as he lifts and lowers my body onto him, his hips rising as he slams my body down on him one final time, gritting out a long moan as his hot cum fills my pussy.

I fall forward, my arms wrapped around his neck, both of us panting and sweating.

“Goddamn, baby. That was hot,” he murmurs against my neck.

“Mmmm, yes, it was,” I agree, my voice breathless.

We stay like that for a few minutes, holding each other tightly. As I sigh, slowly pulling back, his hands cup my face. “I love you so damn much, Irelynn.” His eyes shine with sincerity. “I’ve never loved anyone as much as I love you.”

My heart squeezes inside my chest. “I love you more than I’ve ever loved anyone, Max.” I stroke his face softly, completely lost in his eyes.

I groan as I hear my phone beep, indicating I have a text message. “That’s probably Vanessa.” Slowly sliding from his lap, I pick up my phone, nodding. “She’s leaving campus to head to the coffee shop. That’s our cue.” I let out a sigh and Max laughs.

“It’s okay, baby. We can continue this again later.” He leans forward, grabs my chin with one hand, and presses his lips against mine. “Let’s get dressed and go hang with Vanessa.” Releasing my chin, his hand trails down my arm, gripping my fingers, and pulling me to my feet.

“Do you think we should invite Darin?”

Max winks at me. “I already did. I texted him earlier.”

“What did you say?”

“That you and I were meeting Vanessa at the coffee shop at 4:00 p.m. today and maybe he should just happen to drop by.”

“Do you think he will?” I quickly pull on my clothes, knowing we are going to be late.

Max grins. “I think there’s a really good chance he’ll show up.”

I inspect his outfit, looking at his gray sweatpants. “I’m not sure I should let you out of the house in those. They show the outline of your huge dick.”

He chuckles, his eyes softening. “So jealous.”

I raise one brow. “Well, yeah. He’s all mine—and so are you.”

“Definitely, beautiful. You have all of me. Body, heart, and soul.” He pulls me against him, his lips inches from mine.

My breath hitches from his words. “I know I have nothing to be jealous of. It’s irrational and I don’t know why I get this way.” A slight flush creeps up my cheeks.

“I get it, love. I’ve never been the jealous type—until you.” He pushes a lock of hair over my shoulder.

“On second thought, keep those on. Easy access later.” I wink at him, and he laughs.

“Whatever you want, babe.” His phone beeps and he pulls it out of the pocket of his sweatpants. “We better go. Darin is leaving the garage and heading to the coffee shop.”

Nodding, I take Max’s hand and follow him out the door, waiting patiently as he sets the alarm.

There’s a nervous flutter in my stomach. I hope we are doing the right thing by inviting Darin. Part of me feels responsible for their breakup.

I’d really like to see my two best friends reconcile.

Chapter thirty-three

Max

A smile is on my face as I hold the coffee shop door open for Irelynn, inhaling her apple cinnamon scent as she passes by me, her fingers trailing down my chest as she does. Vanessa follows behind her, thanking me for holding the door.
