I imagine the just barely adult-sized dress and the tiny dress are very carefully hung with the protective garment bag over them. I guess Caleb’s tux is likely hung neatly as well. If I know Julie, they’re packed and ready to go to the dry cleaners. Then Caleb and Carly will go back to the rental place. Angel’s won’t. There aren’t places that rent dresses for someone that young, at least none we found. In any case, I’m sure Julie has it all organized.

Raymond and I didn’t do so well in that regard.

My dress made it to the chair in the room but my veil is somewhere between the door and the bed. My panties are on the floor somewhere, too. My corset is still on, as are my garters and stockings. I have no idea where the hell my heels might be. As for Raymond’s tuxedo, it’s strewn all over the place. I’m glad it’s not a rental because I think I tore the shirt trying to get it off him.

At the moment, I’m on all fours on the bed and my face is pressed right against the comforter as Raymond holds tightly to my hips. His thrusts send ecstatic bursts of pleasure through my body. That’s one thing I’ve noticed about sex with him. It feels very good the whole way. It’s like the climax isn’t the end goal but just a final explosion of bliss to cap off what’s already amazing. I don’t know how much of that is mental and emotional and how much of it is actually physical but, really, does it matter?

I move myself against him and think about how eighteen months ago I thought I would never stop struggling, that my life was too filled with responsibilities, needs, and obligations. It’s amazing how additional obligations came along with needs I had to fill and more responsibilities but that’s exactly what makes life wonderful for me now. I think about that sweet little Angel who’s the reason I have Raymond now. I think about how my husband loves my kids and how they love him.

And I think about how he’s Raymond.

He’s Raymond when he’s a leopard and he’s Raymond when he’s half-leopard and half-man. He’s Raymond when he’s human.

He’s Raymond and he’s mine.

Did you likeMidlife Leopard’s Sweet Angel? I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. It’s the fourth book in theMidlife Shifter True Mateseries. Let me take a moment to say that tragedy like what happened to Raymond’s sister Rose is far too common and I hope if you or a member of your family faces problems like hers you’ll seek help right away. At the same time, it’s wonderful that Raymond found someone at a point in his life when he faced a real crisis. Of course, Kelly needed Raymond, too, and the two of them each filled a need in the other’s life. There’s also plenty of love to go around for sweet little Angel and Kelly’s really incredible kids, Caleb and Carly. Two families have become one big family, and nothing is standing in the way of a very happy ever after life for everyone!

In our next book, tiger shifter Brock has returned from two years overseas after his bitter breakup with his wife. The only bright spot in his life is his only child, his twenty-year-old daughter Melanie. Now that he’ll be close to where she goes to college, he’s looking forward to starting over. It doesn’t take long for an account executive at his company to catch his eye. She’s a single mother with two children and about as overwhelmed as she can be. It’s no surprise the two of them seek comfort with each other but can something real come from an almost desperate attempt for any connection at all? This tale is filled with passion, heart, and plenty of drama. You won't want to missMidlife Tiger’s Last Chance, book four of theMidlife Shifter True Mateseries!
