It wasn’t the first time she’d given in to Coralyn and it

wouldn’t be the last. Coralyn was different and Giana knew

she was a different person when she was with her. She’d never

had an addiction before. All the stuff she’d amassed filled the

empty hours between running an empire and when she could

go back to running it. Empty, lonely hours. She didn’t have a

problem with self-denial either. But she did have a Coralyn

problem.

Coralyn responded, her hands grasping Giana’s blouse, and

finally succeeding at wrenching the buttons away. They

scattered, just like the pins in her hair had. She was coming

unbound. Her clothing was going to be stripped away and she

was going to be naked and visible in the most vulnerable way,

but for once, she didn’t care. She knew she couldn’t trust

Coralyn. She couldn’t trust anyone. People were fallible. They

made mistakes. They did things like drive home drunk and end

everything. Coralyn had already lied about the most

monumental thing. And yet…

Giana needed this. God, maybe she’d always needed it.

Maybe she’d always needed Coralyn Anderson.

Chapter 16

Coralyn

“Bedroom,” Giana commanded. Panted. The syllables

were broken.

Coralyn had literally just torn Giana’s shirt open, exposing a

black lace bra that made her slick and burning with molten

heat between her legs. Her panties were soaked. She’d debated

surprising Giana by not wearing any, but she delighted in the

many clever ways that Giana employed to divest her of them.

“Which one?”
