"Your turn," she said.

He took the quarter. Then she stopped him on the wind-up. "Since there are only two of us, you can't make any more rules until after you miss again. Or else we’ll have a list a mile long."

Isaac shrugged his acceptance then bounced the quarter.

Chapter 24

He never missed another shot.

As a result, it didn't take long, Katie being so much smaller than him, for the tequila to catch up with her. Which meant it didn't take long for him to lose the rest of his clothes since she kept missing.

Down to only his dark gray briefs, Isaac said, "I think you've had enough." He took the bottle of booze off the table before she poured another shot. "I'd rather not have to take you to the hospital with alcohol poisoning."

"No fair," Katie slurred. "You're just stopping so you don't lose your undies."

"That's only part of it. I promise I'm really just concerned about your health." And he was. She couldnothold her liquor. According to the number of clothing items she'd taken from him, she'd only had five shots. Though, only in the span of, at most, an hour?

Yikes.

Yeah. It was time to be responsible.

Katie blew a raspberry at him. Completely unconvinced.

"Let's dance." She got up pulling him with her, smacking his pants out of his hand as he grabbed them on his way up.

"Nope," she said. "In your underwear." She pulled her shirt up around her chest. "I'll even join you."

"Katie, no."

Gripping the tank top, she stretched her arms over her head. With her top over her face, her vision impaired, she started spinning. Isaac caught her around the waist before she fell over.

Her skin flushed with heat. From his touch or the alcohol, he didn't know. But he could definitely attribute the spike in his own temperature to the smooth caress of her bare stomach against his when he pulled her close. And his breath came quicker when her breasts pressed against him and her cleavage heaved from the cups of her bra.

"Are you okay?" she asked. "Your skin is hot again and your breathing… Is the virus giving you hell again?"

"No," Isaac said holding her at arm's length before she discovered the real reason for the changes in his body had come from the change going on in his too-tight briefs.

But Katie pushed in again. Their centers collided and an ornery spark lit in the thin ring of blue around her wide black pupils.

One second, Isaac was telling himself to push her away. The next, her hand stroked his cock through the cotton fabric of his briefs.

Isaac's legs wobbled.

"Damn it, Blondie." A moan vibrated his throat as she firmed her grip and stroked him again.

Fuuuuuck.

He couldn't let her do this. She was drunk. Probably as drunk as he had been at the party. Maybe even more. No way he was going to put her in the position of thinking he'd taken advantage.

"Katie, we can't," Isaac said pushing her away.

"My choice, remember?"

"You're drunk. Not the best time to be making choices like these."

She fought against his grip. "Spring break was invented for bad choices."

But he didn't want to be a bad choice. She wouldn't be a bad choice for him. And he didn't want her to consider him a bad choice. Not when she was drunk. And certainly not when she sobered up.
