“Susan?” the pastor urged.
“Royce, you’ve made me happier than I have ever thought possible. I will continue to love you every day of my life. You and our baby,” she added in a whisper.
His eyebrows arched, and his eyes widened. “Seriously?” he murmured.
“In summer.”
“The rings, please?” the pastor prompted.
Royce slipped a diamond ring onto her finger.
“Wow, it’s so beautiful.”
“Dad gave it to me. It’s one of my mother’s rings.”
“You may kiss the bride.”
Royce gathered her in his arms for a passionate kiss.
“Thank you, babe. I promise to make you happy every day of my life.” He let his lips trail to her ear. “And give you as many babies as you want.”
