Shit! They must’ve noticed everything.

Pushing away from the door, I go toward a broken cabinet in the corner. My cans of de-scenter sprays are all concealed inside it.

Opening the cabinet, I grab a can and spray my hair.

The top of the head releases the maximum levels of pheromones, so omegas always make sure to spray their hair. Thank fuck I had an omega for a sister and was able to learn this stuff from her.

Julian is the only one I can be around without feeling like my body’s on fire. His omega nature soothes mine.

He’d truly accepted me as a friend and it was the only reason his subconscious had allowed me to go through my awakening without him becoming territorial.

Caleb, Damon, and Raiden were becoming suspicious though. Their inner alphas probably knew the truth of my nature. No wonder they’ve been tracking me so closely since this morning.

I open my purse and double-check to see whether it contains a small can of de-scenter. The effects of the spray last only a couple of hours, so I have to make sure I have it at hand during the party.

Taking a deep breath, I go downstairs.

Reaching the entrance hall, I halt in my steps.

Julian stands among his alphas, his gaze falling on me as I move in closer.

His ash-blond hair is fashioned into waves that frame his angelic face. The collar of his shirt is left open, revealing the silvery bite marks that cover the column of his neck.

Unlike his alphas, he’s dressed in a shimmery navy jacket. His lips are coated with pink gloss, making them even more luscious.

My heart starts racing from just one look at him. He’s like the handsome fairy tale prince of my dreams.

There’s no doubt in my mind that men and women would be falling at his feet tonight. I’m secretly happy he has three alphas to protect him from all unwanted attention.

“Come on,” says Julian, extending his hand toward me.

Pure happiness floods me as I take it.

Caleb, Damon, and Raiden flank us and lead us toward the limousine that’s waiting on the lawn.

The inside of the car is luxurious as well as spacious. The five of us fit perfectly together with enough room for my dress to stay uncrumpled.

Caleb breaks open a bottle of champagne and fills our glasses as the car starts moving. I accept the drink but don’t take more than a few sips.

It’s important to stay alert throughout the evening. I can’t afford to slip up and let anyone discover my secret.

I breathe through my mouth throughout the entire journey. It’s the only way I can stay sane being in such close proximity to the three alphas.

It’s only been a few weeks but I’ve developed massive crushes on them. Coupled with my awakening omega hormones, I’ve been driven crazy each time they’ve been near me.

“One of us is going to keep an eye on Julian at all times,” Caleb says in an authoritative tone.

Raiden and Damon nod their agreement.

“Raiden, you must continue checking on the outer perimeter every hour. Damon, inner perimeter.”

“Stop nagging,” Raiden mutters. “We know what we’re supposed to do.”

“I don’t want creeps trying to lure him away,” Caleb says in a tight voice.

“When has anyone been able to do that?” Julian asks with a roll of his eyes. “I’m not a meek omega lady. I know how to karate chop a man if he tries to get handsy with me. You should all be worried about this little one.”

They all turn their gazes on me.
