With a deep breath, Tanner gazed at Travis suddenly realizing that he and Desiree had been searching for him. “Why did you come into the kitchen?”

“The men are out hunting the bull. Seems he tore down a fence to get at one of the cows. See what love can do to you? You were kind of like that bull today. You had to get to your woman.”

Tanner shook his head. “We can’t have a rodeo tomorrow without a bull.”

“Nope, we can’t. That is unless you’d like to take his place.” A grin spread across Travis’s face. “Come on, little brother. We’ve got work to do.”

“Ha-ha,” Tanner said as they walked back to the house. “Very funny. Me being the bull.”
