More people show up as Juniper shows them around the yard, all her new creations out for everybody to see. I’m so proud of Juniper for following her dreams.

She’s happy creating her furniture and selling her art, and I still get to do my custom motorcycle work. Both get to work from home and have the dreams we’ve always wanted. We’ve created a beautiful life for us and I cannot wait for the next step in our life; marriage and officially adopting Tobias.

I told Juniper once we sign those papers; I want to adopt Tobias as my own. We made sure to ask Tobias what he wanted, and he cried little tears while holding me and whispering yes.

Derek, Juniper’s ex, only tried to show up once. She laid into him before I could even come rushing down the driveway. Tobias had come running to my house, tears in his eyes, as he told me that a strange man was fighting with his mom.

Lucas, one of the cops I’m friends with in town, came over to help with the situation as well. It’s safe to say Derek willnevershow his face in this town or speak to Juniper ever again.

Looking over, I see Juniper leaning against an enormous oak tree, just watching everybody as she smiles. I head over and wrap my arms around her, leaning down to kiss her.

“You good, baby?”

She looks up and grins. “How did I get so lucky to find my perfect life here with you?”

“Emily and Tobias. She helped guide you here and helped guide Tobias into my yard. I’m the luckiest man in the world, June bug.”

Tobias and Dagda come running up and I lift him into my arms, tickling him with my beard as Dagda jumps around us, barking and tail wagging like crazy.

This is the perfect life. The dream life here was with Juniper, Tobias, and Dagda.

Juniper smiles up at me. “I love you, Cody.”

“I love you, Juniper.”

The End
