Chapter 1

HUNTER

Ipicked up the matsin the nursery to clean under them. They assigned the whole staff a section of the club to clean, and the nursery was my designated area. It typically took about an hour after closing to make sure everything was clean and sanitized. The members each cleaned after their scenes, no matter which room they were in, that was part of the agreement they made when they joined Club Deviance, but the staff always did one final clean through at night, making sure everything was sanitized for the next day.

“Hey, Hunter.”

I looked over to see Martin come into the nursery. He was the head security and bouncer that guarded the club and its members. “What’s up, Martin?” I asked, tossing the mat back down on the floor where it belonged before spraying it with the sanitizer.

“How’d everything go down here tonight?”

“Good. There’s a Little that came in unattached. I monitored her most of the night. There were a few daddies that tried to talk to her, but she kept to herself. I think it was her first time, and she was uncomfortable.” I shrugged. “She was cute, but unsure of herself and her needs.”

“Hmmm. Wonder if it’s the woman I saw come in that I almost didn’t let in.”

“Why?”

“She looked too damn innocent to be coming in by herself, but she had an ID and an invitation. I gave her a newbie bracelet. She wouldn’t have been able to scene with anyone, anyway.”

“You happy about that, Martin?” I cocked my head to study the man I counted as my friend.

“Nah, not interested.”

He picked up a few toys and set them on the shelf. “What are you doing this weekend?”

By weekend, he meant Sunday and Monday because that’s what days the club was closed for the “weekend”. “Not much, why? What’s up?”

Martin ran his hands through his hair and grinned. “I need some help moving my little sister out of her apartment this weekend. She just graduated from culinary school and has promised to make a few steaks and all the sides for me and whoever I get to help me move her.”

“A home cooked meal? I’m in.” I grinned over at my co-worker that had become my friend over the last six months. He was about six years older than me. I was only twenty-six, and he was at least in his early to mid-thirties.

“Charley loves to cook. I think she got that from our mom, but our mom never got to go to school for it. She worked her way up from server to managing the restaurant.”

“Sounds good. What time do you want me to meet you, and where?”

“I’ll text you her address. And Hunter—” Martin started, but cut himself off from finishing his thought. He shook his head. “Never mind, you’ll see tomorrow.”
