That had been one of my first questions to him when he pulled into one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Sunset Falls. “You live here?”

“We live here,” he corrected me with a squeeze of my hand.

“But...” I paused. “You work at the club,” I stated, my confusion clear.

“I work at the club because I enjoy working there.” He shrugged. “Not because I needed to or because I needed the money.”

I was still trying to work out in my head what he did that allowed him to afford to live in this neighborhood in this part of town.

“Oh god,” I groaned. “You’re not into anything illegal, are you?”

Hunter laughed and sent me a wicked grin. “No, Charley. I’m just good at what I do, and I keep my hands in many pies.”

“What does that mean? Will you give me a straight answer?” I huffed out, worried I’d somehow got myself entangled in more than I or my brother knew.

Hunter sighed. “I don’t tell anyone where I live. I don’t bring people home. Your brother called Damian because he thought I needed help with an attorney. He doesn’t know I have one on retainer, but I’m thinking of adding Lexi to that list because she was impressive.”

“Who are you? What are you?”

“The most important thing is I’m your Daddy, Charley, but so it doesn’t drive you nuts and because you are mine, I’ll tell you what I do.

“I’m a software developer. I work from home and freelance developing applications for companies that need an application that doesn’t yet exist. I get to be picky about what jobs I take because the payout on each job is substantial. That leaves me with a lot of free time on my hands and nobody to share that time with.”

“How did you end up in Sunset Falls and working at Deviance?”

“Damian.” I shrugged as I pulled into the driveway.

“Damian hired me to develop the system for the upper rooms at the club. He wanted a way that a couple could watch other couples privately, or get watched by other couples anonymously. He also wanted a system that would allow couples to record themselves for a private video or for other couples to view on demand.”

“And you created this?”

“Yeah.” He shrugged like it was nothing big

“After meeting Damian and seeing his club, I stayed. He hired me on part-time to keep watch in the Dungeons.”

“Dungeons?”

“Kink rooms, Angel. Public rooms where a couple can put on a show for others to watch or even join in—if the couple allows.”

“Do you—” I swallowed hard, not sure if I really wanted to know the answer to the question. “Do you participate outside of your job at the club?”

I looked away from him so he couldn’t see how nervous I was to hear the answer, but Hunter wouldn’t let me hide. He crooked a finger under my chin and pulled it up, so I was looking straight at him.

“I won’t lie to you, Charley. I have taken part at the club, but rarely. Working in the nursery and watching over the Littles there has kept most of my needs at bay when I really needed to let off some steam. The girls all call me sir. I won’t allow any of them to call me Daddy. I’m your Daddy, Charley. Nobody else’s.”

“Are you still going to work at the club?” I didn’t know how I felt about my daddy working with other littles. I wanted him to myself.

“I already put in my two weeks with Damian, Angel. You don’t have to be jealous of anyone, ever.”

“I wasn’t jealous,” I grumbled, frowning up at Hunter.

“Oh, you weren’t jealous?” He grinned.

“No. I just wanted to know if you would still be playing Dungeon Daddy to other Littles.”

“Hmmm. Well, I was going to let you go with me to work tonight, so you could see what I do and that you have nothing to worry about, but if you’re not jealous—”

“I was jealous,” I admitted quickly. I couldn’t deny I was curious about what Club Deviance was like and what my Daddy did at the club.
