Three days. It hadbeen three days since Gates tried to kill me and shot Hunter instead. The bullet had gone through his shoulder, but I’ll never forget the helplessness I felt as they loaded him into the back of the ambulance.
I never wanted to feel that way again. Hunter was resting on the couch with his eyes closed and his arm in a sling to keep him from moving his shoulder too much. He hated it, and it made him grumpy.
My eyes traced over his bare chest and down to the jeans that rode low on his hips. He was so damn sexy, and I couldn’t wait to marry him. I thought it was the drugs and pain when he first asked me, but then he asked me again when he was stable.
Looking at him, I thought about how quickly my life had changed since meeting him. I remembered how hot our first time had been together, where he’d spanked me and made me ask for another.
I bit my lip as desire for my Daddy pumped through my veins. An idea popped into my head, and I couldn’t get it out.
Hunter’s eyes opened as I walked into the room, hearing my zebra pajamas he loved. “Hey, Daddy.” I gave him a smile.

“A game? Okay. What kind of game?”
I moved beside his chair and hid my hands behind my back. “Daddy, May I sit in your lap?”
“Yes, you may.” He smiled, catching on as I crawled into his lap, careful not to hurt his shoulder.
I stared at his lips and licked my own. My desire was already dampening my panties, and the game we were playing was just making it hotter.

“Yes, you may.” His voice was husky and the sound of it amped up my desire another notch. It had been three days since I’d been with him outside of his boss’ office as we listened from outside the door as his boss had sex with his wife.
