“What are you doing?”

“Do you trust me?”

The look in his eyes revealed trepidation, but he nodded and said, “Yes.”

I could feel the resistance in his body, but I’d fix that. “Close your eyes,” I commanded.

“I don’t know about...”

“Do it.” I didn’t give him time to protest. He closed his eyes hesitantly, but his shoulders remained tense. “Relax.”

He took a deep breath but the tension in his body was palpable.

Without warning, I was on top of him in a cowgirl position. I’d never heard such noises come out of him. He was generally the silent and stoic type, so to see and hear his huge, beautiful body let go like that brought me pleasure. He murmured my name.

“Camilla...”

“What?”

“You feel so...”

“Shut up and fuck me.”

He honored my request and made me scream his name several times before the night was over. My happiness dropped when his phone went off. He had a demanding job. I’ve known that.

He stared at his phone, “I’m sorry. I have to take this.”

I knew our night together ended when he walked into the kitchen. Duty called.Go be a superhero, Sebastian.

The following morning, I woke up and looked at my phone.

Sebastian: You are the kindest, good-looking woman I have ever met.

Jonathan: Be over at 11. Good news, but it’s a secret.

11? That’s in an hour. I struggled to get dressed in time. A black dress was all I could find, and out the door I went.

I walked into the house, and there he was, Sebastian in a pale blue button-up shirt that brought out his eyes. His smile lit up the room. I walked over and gave him a hug, a kiss on the cheek and sat down.

Jonathan urged us all to start making our way into the dining room for dinner. Sebastian turned around and gripped me by the hand and walked with me. He trailed out my chair and gestured to me to sit. Abigail sat at the table talking to me when Jonathan walked in and sat down.

“So, I invited you both to dinner because I have something I want to bring up,” He informed us.

He got up and walked over to Abigail down on one knee and pulled out the box.

“Baby, you represent my whole world. I can’t imagine waking up without you or not falling asleep next to you every night. Will you marry me?”

Abigail’s brow creased and tears began to make an appearance.

“Jonathan, I have been waiting for this, and I feel the same way. I want you with me every day and couldn’t imagine my life without you. Of course, I will marry you.” She said as she kissed him.

I practically bawled like a baby. They have been madly in love with each other pretty much since they met. Sebastian subtly glanced at me with a smile as we congratulated them.

He drove me home after I consumed too much wine. He walked us inside and helped me get into bed and undressed me. I leaned over and kissed him. It was a tender and short kiss. He pulled away and stood up.

“I don’t want to sleep with you when you have been drinking,” Sebastian said with concern. “I can’t tell if it is you or if it’s the alcohol.”

“It’s me. I want you to understand that.” I said to him, pleading with him.
