“Alright, done. Time for a nap.”

“That sounds good. Talk to ya later.”

Once I got home, I passed out for almost five hours but woke up to a text.

Sebastian: Wanna hangout tonight?

Me: See you in an hour.

The hour went by quickly, showering and getting dressed. I heard a rap on my door. The greeting was a subtle kiss. What a way to start. We made our way to the couch.

“Listen, I’ve been thinking. Are you okay with going to the next step?”

I nodded. “You're an incredible man, and I can’t wait to see how our lives go together.”

His lips brushed against mine, “You’re the kindest woman I know. It was a blessing you came back into my life, and you have since been my backbone. Thank you for being patient with me after the accident. I don’t want to lose you.”

I embraced him, just wanting to feel his warmth.

“You look beautiful.”

His broad shoulders and muscles move beneath the fabric of his shirt. I couldn’t help but stare.

“So, what do you want to watch?”

“I want something that isn’t scary but romantic. I recently bought a movie we could watch.”

I sat back down next to him, his body clinged to mine but his hand trembled subtly. “I’m not going to try and seduce you or anything.”

“And here I was hoping you would.”

“I’m not saying I would be against it. Merely stating I didn’t have it in mind at this moment.” That would be an obvious lie.

Sebastian kissed me slowly and ardently, exploring all the corners of my mouth. His hand curls around my neck and the other hand pressed against my lower back for support.

The short, denim skirt was hitched up around my hips as I rocked back and forth against the heat of his body and the strength of his hands. His lips traveled down my throat to the base of my neck, and he kissed me gently, yet precisely. As it tickled, and I let out a sigh that couldn’t be contained. All my thoughts from the day disappeared and melted into the sensations.

He traced his fingers up and down my spine causing my back to arch so far it popped. We both smiled at each other as he brought his fingertips around to the front of me, circling my belly button, and tenderly up over my ribs to my breasts.

One of the straps of my camisole fell off my shoulder. Sebastian took the other one off with his teeth and pulled down, exposing my starved and perky breasts. But before he could ravish them with kisses, there was a knock at the door.

“Who would be at the door right now?” Sebastian asked, disturbed by being distracted.

“I ordered pizza earlier before I knew you would be here, remember?” I replied, laughing as I pulled the straps of my camisole back over my shoulders.

“I’m not hungry for pizza,” Sebastian muttered under his breath as he went to the door. I heard him pay for the pizza and set it down on the table before hurrying back. Through a big smile he said, “Now, where were we?”

Another knock at the door made him curse. “Seriously? Who is it now?”

When he opened the door, I froze. It was my mother. I haven’t seen her since she abandoned me after my father died. He was a police officer and was killed in the line of duty after 15 years of service. When my mother left, my life turned upside down and I was forced to grow up faster and focus on my studies so I could get a scholarship to college.

When I graduated high school, she wasn’t in attendance. She had moved away, and met a new guy. It took a toll on me not to have either one of my parents there for an important day like that. I worked hard and put myself through college and Law School without her help. I’d not seen her since she moved away but an occasional call would be placed to check up on me.

I couldn’t move.

“Hi dear, how are you?”

There was no way I was going to let her ruin my evening. “I’m doing great.” I wanted to stay quick and to the point. “I’m sure you remember Sebastian.”
