Grace looked up at her. “When Audrey asked me to walk her down the aisle, I asked her if she was going to be inviting him. She said no, but I could tell that there was more to it. I finally got it out of her that she wanted to but didn’t want to hurt my feelings. Plus, mom would have wanted him to be here.” Grace’s eyes began to fill with moisture at the mention of their mom, but she sniffed it back. “So, I invited him.”

Viv didn’t know what to say. “Does Audrey know that Mason’s here?”

Grace looked over at the door right as Mason walked in like it was on cue in a movie. “No, but she will now.”

Viv hung back as her sisters and Blake all spoke to Mason. She watched the interaction and the joy on her sister Audrey’s face when Mason hugged her and she couldn’t help but feel like she’d done the right thing by finding him.

This was right. Even if it started out all wrong.

After a few minutes Grace walked over and joined her again. “Thank you for saying all of that but I didn’t save you guys. We all saved each other.” Grace pulled Viv into a hug and she hugged her back.

When they stepped apart, Viv asked in whisper, “So wait, is Mason walking Audrey down the aisle?”

“Fuck no. I am.”

Viv’s head fell back as she laughed. Grace rarely ever cursed, but if there was ever a time to drop an F-bomb, this was definitely it.

“Do you like?”Glenn watched as Vivien did a spin in front of him. This was the first time he’d seen her since she got out of bed this morning. She’d spent the day with her sisters preparing for the wedding. He couldn’t believe how much he’d missed her in the eight hours he’d been away from her.

She was wearing a blue sundress that matched her eyes and accentuated all of her generous curves. Her hair was down and had curls in it. He wasn’t sure how in the hell he’d gotten so damn lucky, but he was sure glad he had.

He wanted to tell her how amazing she looked, but all that came out when he opened his mouth was, “Wow.”

His inarticulation didn’t seem to bother Vivien in the slightest. She beamed up at him. “I was going for wow.”

“You look just like Giselle!” Bree squealed excitedly.

“Look at you! You look like a princess!”

Vivien held Bree’s hand and his daughter giggled as she did a spin.

“Viv!” Ava called out from across the grassy area where all the chairs were set up for the wedding.

“Duty calls.” Vivien lifted up on her toes and kissed him before hurrying off toward her sister.

“Shall we?” Glenn offered Bree his arm and she slid her hand around it.

On the way down the aisle, Glenn saw a familiar face. He saw a lot of familiar faces but one that wasn’t a resident in Hope Falls.

Mason Wells was seated along the aisle in the back. He was wearing a suit and had trimmed up his beard. He looked good. Glenn was surprised to see him there. Last he’d heard, Audrey wasn’t going to invite him out of loyalty to Grace. But, whatever had happened, he was glad he was there.

Glenn stopped and extended his hand. “Mr. Wells, nice to see you again.”

Mason stood up. “Oh, you, too.”

“This is my daughter, Aubrey.” Glenn motioned down toward Aubrey.

Mason smiled. “Hi Aubrey, it’s nice to meet you. I have a daughter named Audrey with a d.”

“I have an aunt named Audrey with a d. She’s getting married today.”

Glenn grinned. “This is Aunt Audrey’s dad.”

“Oh, okay,” Bree looked up at him with a serious expression on her face. “People call me Bree but nobody calls her Dree.”

Mason smiled. “Good to know.”
