It was her turn to nearly hunch in laughter, wheezing at his audaciousness. Moriah didn’t know what sort of magic bravery possessed her — maybe it was the thrill of being out with an attractive man for the first time since her divorce, possibly it was the knowledge of what they were going to do together, or perhaps it was a giddy combination of the two, for they had barely taken a few steps into the gated little park when she stopped before him and palmed the front of his jeans. She sucked in a breath between her teeth when he grunted in surprise, but did not remove her hand. He hadn’t been lying. A long, thick firmness rested beneath her fingers, jerking when she squeezed it gently. A rush of wetness flooded her core.

The week of her heat had been agony. She’d held off touching herself for as long as she could. She’d read that it would only make the burning worse. The websites hadn’t lied. Her first orgasm shook through her as she whimpered on her sofa, but it hadn’t helped. It hadn’t even taken the edge off. Instead, she had continued to twist, continued to ache, desperate to be filled.

She had swiped open her phone, typing in the web address for one of the multi-species porn sites with a shaking hand, alternating between Lowell’s picture and videos of werewolves fucking human-looking women, both in their man skin and as wolves. It was something she had previously found distasteful in thought, the edge of being a bit too bestial for her, but which she now found wildly exciting.

It had been all she’d thought about for a week, and now it was twitching in her palm. She wasn’t lying to him. She really did want to see his cock; wanted to ensure she was making the best-informed decision she could, and wanted to know everything about him.

“Someone needs to be on lookout duty because if I get caught this way, I really am going to walk into traffic, you have no idea.”

Her breath came out in shallow gasps as he led her to one of the benches. The little park area was as empty as the coffee shop beside the café, and the only customers in the area were the two satyrs inside. Her heart was in her mouth when he undid his belt buckle, his eyes casting around continuously as he drew down his fly. It was hard to appreciate his full size under the conditions, but Moriah decided even like this — at an awkward angle, not fully pulled out, and not fully hard — she liked what she saw.I like it very much.

He wasn’t quite as long as Sorben had been, at least not yet, but his shaft possessed a delicious thickness that would feel amazing inside her, she was certain. His cock head was covered in the thin membrane of his foreskin, but the flared edge of his glans was clearly visible, and his head dropped back, small groan vibrating from him when she traced the edge of it with her nail. She dragged the pads of her fingertips down his thick shaft until she reached the opening of his jeans, frustrated there was not more of him available to touch.

“We-we should probably go somewhere if you don’t feel like you can make an informed decision yet. Clothing is optional, but I’m pretty sure hand jobs are not.”

She wanted to protest as he tucked himself away with a trembling hand, doing up his fly and sliding the tongue of his belt through the buckle.

“I just don’t think I can. You understand, right? I want to make sure I’m doing my absolute due diligence.”

She couldn’t take him home. She wanted to, and home was literally minutes away, but she couldn’t. She knew that wouldn’t be smart, it was a risk, and she wasn’t willing to throw caution that recklessly into the wind. She still needed a tiny sliver of anonymity to feel good about this process, and she could not bring him home. She got the impression he lived in Bridgeton from the way he had referred to Cambric Creek initially, but she couldn’t see this momentary burst of bravery lasting through a thirty-minute or more ride into the city.

Lowell sucked in a deep breath, exhaling slowly through his teeth before lacing the long fingers of his big hand through her own small ones, pushing himself to his feet a moment later and pulling her to follow. She didn’t want to think about how well her hand fit against his, how neatly she molded against his palm, nor how his warmth sunk into her, heating her to the core.

“There-there’s a place right around here, I think. Just around the corner. We can walk, if you want to leave your car here.”

It was a hotel, she realized. On the other side of the industrial parkway, primarily used for visiting executives, dropping into the offices of the businesses populating the area. You’re the one who started this. What do you want to do? She decided she would simply need to pick up an extra job this month to cover the cost of her afternoon fact-finding mission, for she was not ready to say goodbye to him yet. She had absolutely made her choice, but she still wanted to know everything about him, including every intimate secret of his long, lovely body.

“It-it just seems silly to wait until we’re in an awkward, sterile lab setting to see each other for the first time, doesn’t it?”

“I agree,” he said quickly, nodding. “Super awkward. Performance anxiety. I might not even be able to get it up that way.”

Moriah grinned up at him, knowing he was absolutely full of shit, but appreciated the effort.

“Something tells me we’ll manage,” she laughed, squeezing his hand. “Lowell, I-I’m definitely picking you. You’re my choice. I want to do this with you. But it would be nice to get the awkwardness out of the way, don’t you think?”

She didn’t immediately know how to react when he gripped her chin with a gentle hand, tilting her face up and bending until he was able to reach her mouth. His lips were warm, so warm, like the rest of him, pulling a little gasp from her throat as he trapped her lower lip between his two, a soft suck, a featherlight brush of his tongue, and then an equally gentle release.

“Totally agree. Just wanted to get that out of the way too. No sense in making things awkward, right?”

She met his grin, feeling her heart lift on beating wings, threatening to levitate her fully. He sparkled. That was why she had chosen him, Moriah reminded herself, returning the squeeze of his hand. He sparkled, and she hoped her baby would too.

“One hundred percent. If we can leave our cars here, then lead the way.”
