Another crash from outside the door reminded us that we were still at the party.

I gasped in surprise, but it turned into a moan as Jack picked up the speed. It heightened the excitement of the moment that we could get caught. Jack pressed his mouth against mine to keep us quiet. But the tempo made me damn near impossible to silence.

I started to feel the heat building inside of me. “Jack, I’m almost—”

“I know Sprinkles, me too. Come with me,” he demanded.

His thumb connected with my nub sending me over the edge.

Jack pumped a few more times before finding his own release.

Both of us panted, trying to catch our breath.

Jack kissed me one last time before pulling out, his cum spilling out of me. Quickly, he found a towel and got to work cleaning me up as I laid my back fully on the desk. When he was done, he lifted me up, lowered my dress and tried to help me with my hair.

“Do you have a mirror somewhere?” I had to do something to tame the “just had sex” look I’m sure I was sporting.

Jack pulled out his phone from his pocket. “Here, use this.” I found the camera app and put it into selfie mode. I weaved my fingers through my hair trying to look presentable.

It would have to do.

“I feel like we have to christen all of your offices.” I gave him a sly look as I made my way to the door.

Jack slipped his hand around my waist, so that we were walking side by side. “Is that so?”

“Mmm,” I said, not bothering to elaborate.

Before I could open the door, Jack stopped me. “You’re coming home with me tonight.”

I raised an eyebrow. “I’ll think about it.”

Chapter 34

Epilogue - one month later

“Cheers,”said Jack as we all lifted our flutes of sparkling cider in celebration of the football team's championship win.

His eyes met mine with a wink. I knew we'd be celebrating with champagne later tonight and I couldn't wait to get out of here and go home with Jack.

A lot had happened in the last month.

Savannah officially moved back to her place, and I officially moved in with Jack.

James, my new and much more competent real estate agent, handed me the keys to my new place, which I promptly rented to a young couple who wanted to get out of their apartment so that they could get a dog, officially making me a landlord.

In fact, with the income that would be coming in I already started looking at other smaller homes I could buy to add to my listings. The sale of my LA condo made that even more possible.

Since the gala, I'd received multiple requests for both my event planning business and my baking skills. Jack convinced me to market myself in both, so I've been going through the paperwork to file my business license in the state of Ohio.

Everything was coming together.

But it was being with Jack that made me the happiest. We forgave each other, and I got out of my own way.

It felt right, me baking in his kitchen while he sat at the counter going over paperwork for the winery.

At least now he didn't have to forge my handwriting or do any of my homework.

Savannah leaned over from her seat next to mine. “I'm so tired of sparkling cider.” She'd been having a lot of it lately since she’d formally announced her pregnancy, everyone wanting to celebrate in a pregnancy-safe way.
