Jack’s eyes followed Reed’s thumb, pointed at Adela, accepting Gabriel’s outstretched hand before pulling her up to his rock. She instantly let go of his hand, giving Gabriel a sweet smile before climbing on the next rock.

“She obviously doesn’t know how hot she is if she’s this shy. You won’t find stunners as humble as her back in LA. Any other girl we know would be all over you after one of your killer smiles. But I bet you didn’t even get a kiss in last night. Do you think she’s still a virgin?”

“Is there a point to all of this?” Jack hated how much thought Reed had put into dissecting Adela.

“Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m on. You know we enjoy the same kinks. She seems like a sweet girl, Jack. Can you really picture Adela handle any of the shit we pull?” Reed said while he nudged his head to the rocks.

Jack’s eyes fixated on Adela sitting on the rocks. Why wouldn’t it work? He’d just have to go slow—much slower than he usually would.

“An innocent girl like Adela would only go there with you if there’s a promise of some kind and we all know how you like to play the field. Don’t let her get too attached, because we’ll be rescued from this island before you know it.”

Reed held up both hands when he noticed Jack’s frown. “It would be a shitty thing to do, that’s all.”

Jack gritted his teeth. “What makes you so damn sure we’ll even get rescued?”

“I just signed a multi-million dollar contract. I’m sure the GM, or our team’s new owner, will do everything in their power to look into the disappearance of their star quarterback.”

“I don’t know why we even inflated the life raft. We could have drifted on the ocean for weeks sitting on your colossal head.”

Reed slapped Jack’s shoulder and laughed despite himself. “Ain’t that the truth?”

Zane joined them and started pissing into the thick overgrowth a few feet away. “What did I miss?”

“We were talking about Jack’s crush.”

Jack groaned while Reed laughed.

“What about Adela?” Zane asked after putting his dick back inside his dark green trunks.

“Jack should be careful not to hurt her. She’s nothing like his usual type.”

Zane turned around, his eyes zeroing in on Gabriel and Adela, sitting down on the highest peak overlooking the ocean.

“She seems nice.”

“She’s an absolute knock-out,” Reed said as he crossed his arms in front of his chest.

Jack shared Reed’s indignation. “You don’t describe a girl like Adela as ‘nice’.”

Every guy knew that if a man describes a girl as ‘nice’ that she was nowhere near a ten. A five maybe.

Zane held up both hands in surrender. “Of course, anyone with eyes in his head can see that she’s beautiful. But she’s also reserved, shy and, from what I can tell, innocent.”

Reed waved a hand in the air. “Thank you. That’s what I’ve been saying.”

Jack walked over to the rocks, figuring he gave Gabriel enough alone time with Adela. He didn’t care if his friends followed him or not.

“We’re only saying this because we have your back,” Zane said after falling into step.

Jack sighed while continuing his trek through the sand. “I get where you’re coming from.”

“Hey, out of the three of us, you’re practically an angel,” Reed said with a cocky grin.

Jack ignored Reed, focusing on Zane as he said, “Who says I even want to pursue Adela? I just want to help her and find her friends.”

His friends clearly didn’t buy into his blatant lie as they busted out laughing.

“Yeah, right,” Reed said.
