CHAPTER TWELVE
Devlin brokeevery damn self-imposed rule by lingering around Teagan as she shared her ideas for Julie’s dancing. He admired Teagan’s strong thighs as they gripped the pole, her heaving breasts almost tumbling out of that sorry excuse for a sports top as she hung upside down.
“That her?” Zeus’ gravelly voice broke the spell she had him under. His president took the red velvet plush seat next to Devlin, who sat a few tables away from the middle stage. Teagan stepped away from the pole, making room for an enthralled Julie to mimic her moves.

Zeus’ upper lip pulled at her enthusiasm. “Gwenn tells me she’s the best for the job. You agree?”
Without a doubt. The way she sat down with Julie, making her feel comfortable before even pointing a finger at the dreaded pole, proved to him she had good instincts. She had set Coco in her place as to where she’d taken Julie by the hand.
“Yeah. I know I had my reservations—”
A laughing Zeus interrupted him. “You could say that again.”
“She already proved her worth after working with Julie for an hour,” Devlin said.
His eyes locked in on Teagan’s, drawing out a cute blush on her cheeks as she tried to ignore him, but glanced his way every other second.
“Hey, brothers. What’s up?” Wolf said while bumping his knuckles with Devlin and Zeus.
“Nothin’,” Devlin grumbled.
“Aw, are you still pissed?” Wolf grinned after plunking down in the other velvet chair at their table.
Zeus ignored his VP and said to Devlin, “How long do we know each other? Twenty years or somethin’?”
Devlin shrugged, wondering where he would go with this. “Sounds about right.”
Wolf just had to put his foot into his smug mouth and said, “We’ve never seen you this hung up about a piece of ass before.”
Devlin narrowed his eyes at his smiling friend, taking a deep breath through his nose, counting till ten.
Wolf licked his lips as he stared at the stage and said, “Although I have to agree… that ripe piece of—”
Wolf’s boisterous laugh at Devlin stomping his fist against his bicep made Teagan look over her shoulder. Her brown eyes lingered on him before she spun her head again.
“Cut it out.” Zeus said as he spotted the hostess and waitress Tania coming up to their table.
“Hi, guys. Can I get you anything? Wow, who’s that bouncy little snack?” she said, her eyes roaming over Teagan. Tania had been a friend of the club for over two years now. She never missed out on a party at the clubhouse, where she’d fucked the brothers and almost all the sweetbutts. “We’re okay for the moment, Tania,” Zeus said.
“Okay, Z. I’ll go and ask our new dancer if she’d like—”
“Leave her,” Devlin said. He wanted everyone to just leave Teagan the hell alone. He didn’t want anyone or anything from his world touching her.
