I glanced at Killian. “Only if I can get a drink first.”

Declan snorted. “The balls on this guy.”

“Get him a drink.” Cain’s eyes flashed towards his younger brother.

Declan stopped laughing. “Are you serious?”

Cain didn’t reply. After a few moments, Declan’s chair screeched back. Music slipped through the door before it shut behind him. When he’d gone, Cain started dealing the cards. When he got to Killian, he said, “Don’t even think about cheating this time.”

Killian didn’t have the sense to look ashamed. “Can’t make any promises.”

I shot him a look. I’d already pissed off the Arco brothers once. We didn’t need another Scarano to piss them off any further. Killian just grinned and shrugged.

Declan returned a few minutes later, a Moscow Mule in hand. “I didn’t know what you drank, so here’s what you get.” He slid it over to me before taking a seat.

“How have things been?” Cain asked calmly.

I stared down at the cards in my hand, unwilling to give him the satisfaction of an emotional response. “Fine.”

“We heard you finally came back to your senses,” Archer added, looking smug. “A certain woman came calling looking for you. Looks like she found you.”

Sienna.

“Yeah. She did. Lot of good it did us,” I muttered.

“Trouble in paradise?” Declan asked.

“We should never have been married,” I replied darkly. Cain laid out the first card, letting us study our hands.

“Ouch. Don’t let her hear that.” Declan snickered. “She’d murder you.”

“She might just murder me anyway.”

Killian frowned. “Why? What’d you do to piss her off?”

“You guys didn’t hear?” I glanced around the table. Usually, the Arco brothers were one of the first to hear anything besides Wen. “The Rosanias are financially ruined.”

“Oh, damn,” Killian whispers. “I guess dad is happy.”

I don’t reply.

“So, you think she blames you?” Cain asked.

“Yes.”

“Then you’re truly fucked, brother,” Dante said, dropping a card onto the table. Killian swore.

I really hoped that wasn’t true, though I knew I couldn’t deny he had a point. If Sienna truly did think I’d betrayed her, she’d murder me for sure. There was no doubt about that.

“What are you going to do?” Killian put down his own card.

I grimaced. “I have no idea. I’m hoping to talk to her when she…calms down.”

Archer and Declan exchanged amused glances. “Good luck with that,” Archer replied.

“I’ll bring flowers to your funeral,” Declan added.

“Shut the fuck up.” I slap down my card, ignoring the curses around the table.
