Gripping my shoulder with one hand, she yanked me forward. I was mesmerized, completely hers. Guiding my length to her entrance, she didn’t even hesitate. Her pussy gripped the hard shaft, pressing it deeper into the hot center. I closed my eyes, just wanting to feel her and nothing else. She gasped as I sank into her to the hilt, her tits pressed against my chest.

I fucked her as hard as I could. Her nails dug into the skin along my arms, her moans growing louder with each thrust. Slipping my hand along her stomach, I let it curl around her neck, squeezing only enough to get her attention. When she glanced up at me, I could see the want in her eyes. She wanted it harder. Faster. I pounded into her, feeling the build in my balls as I tried to hold back. I loved the feeling of moving inside her, of her pussy gripping tight around my cock. Her legs wrapped around my hips, holding me closer as she captured my mouth with hers.

Her tongue slipped along my lower lip, and I knew she could taste herself on my tongue. That fucking drove me crazy. I sank deeper into her, my hips flexing as I tried to bury myself as far as I could go. The adrenaline we felt before came alive, fire burning through our veins. My lips snagged her nipple, my teeth nipping and tongue lapping the hardened pebble. I was close, so close. Each stroke was hard and fast. I could feel her need, her desire, her hunger as her nails dragged down my chest painfully, leaving behind angry marks. A reminder of tonight.

Over and over, I pounded up into her tight little body, feeling my own climax rising to meet hers, until finally, I gave one last thrust. My muscles tensed, my hips jerking against her as I filled her so completely. Sienna held on to my shoulders, riding through the waves of her own orgasm as she cried out. My hand covered her mouth even as I felt my own wash over me. Her body shook beneath my hands as I unloaded my desire into her before she collapsed in my arms.

I collapsed above her, now completely exhausted. If I hadn’t been tired before, I was now. Sienna curled into my chest, tucking herself in my arms and closing her eyes. We didn’t bother showering. There would be time for that in the morning. Right now, I just needed to hold her. To be sure that she was safe. Protected.

As her breaths slowed and deepened, I stayed awake, listening to her sleep in my arms. My mind was racing too much for me to even attempt sleep, no matter how exhausted I was. I thought of tonight, of how easily the Snake could have used Sienna against me, or me against her. They had been right—Sienna was my weakness. And I knew that I was hers, even if she hadn’t admitted it just yet.

The Snake seemed to know everything about us, but we knew almost nothing about them. That was dangerous. Deadly. We needed more information. We needed to finally end this. I couldn’t imagine my life without Sienna in it anymore. In the last few months, she’d become everything to me.Lei era la mia vita. Era la mia salvatrice. She was my everything.

I knew what I had to do. I hated to even think about it, but it had to be done. We were getting nowhere in this way, and we’d come no closer to stopping the Snake than before. Twice now, they’d come close to killing us. More than once, they’d been one step ahead. And I couldn’t allow that to happen again.

I needed to find them before they found us. Again.

Waiting until I knew she was deep in her dreams, I slowly inched out from under her. I lifted her slightly, pulling back the covers just to tuck them in around her shoulders. Sienna sighed, curling up into the pillow, her long dark hair curling across the bed. For a moment, I just watched her, my hand brushing her hair softly. I wanted to memorize every inch, every curve, every feature.

I forced myself to pull away. Taking out my phone, I typed a quick note in the app, setting it by her head on top of the mattress. She’d find it in the morning, I was sure. I tugged my clothes back on in silence, trying not to wake her, but she was a deep sleeper. I didn’t even think a gunshot could wake her right now. I smiled a bit at that before catching myself.

It felt painful walking towards the bedroom door. My heart was begging me to turn back. To climb back into bed with her and never leave it. I wanted to wake up with her in my arms each morning. To make her coffee just the way she liked it. But that couldn’t happen with this threat hanging over our heads. I needed to go. I needed to finish this.

I slipped out the door without looking back. The latch clicked softly, and I paused, listening to see if it had woken her up. But I heard nothing. The hall was dark as I headed towards the living room. No sounds came from the kitchen either. I didn’t know where Mateo was, but I hoped he hadn’t set up camp by the front door. I didn’t want him to ask questions I couldn’t answer.

The others must have gone to bed. The apartment was dead silent, with only the soft honking of cars on the street to keep me company. I could just see the beginning of the early morning light slipping through the windows. I at least had a few more hours before anyone would be up and looking for me.

Taking a step towards the front door, a sound startled me. I froze, whipping around towards the kitchen entrance. Mateo leaned against the door frame, a coffee cup in his hand.

“Going somewhere?”

I glanced back towards the bedrooms, hoping his voice wouldn’t wake anyone. “I need to go.”

Mateo’s eyebrows rose, but he didn’t look angry. Actually, he looked as if he’d expected this. “I had a bet on whether or not it would be you or Sienna who tried to sneak out.” I said nothing, watching him, holding my breath. “My bet was on you.”

“So you know why I’m going?”

Mateo nodded before taking a seat in one of the chairs. He sipped his coffee, dragging out the suspense. “I understand. And I’m not going to stop you.”

Grateful, I reached for the door handle.

“I just hope you make it back.”

I winced, but there was nothing left to say after that. Opening the door, I stepped out. Sienna would understand. She had to. And, if the Snake didn’t kill me before I found them, then I’d come back to her. I had to.
