I furrow my brow. "Did Wesley tell you anything else about his captivity?"

In my heart, I know it's wrong to press Rusty in a moment like this. We must focus on the tour and listen to his expertise about which doors to break into. But if he has any information we can use, we’ve got to learn it. Now.

Rusty clips out a breath. "No. He spoke about his friend Ollie, but that's it. He doesn't discuss the rest."

"Not even once?" Constantine urges.

Gianluca shoots Constantine a dirty look. "We agreed not to discuss Wesley tonight. We're only here to scope out the warehouse."

"This is critical to our mission. We’ll use any information Rusty has."

Rusty sinks his teeth into his lower lip. "Right now, Wesley won’t talk about it." He stares at me. "All he wants to discuss is you and how safe you make him feel. That's it."

Gianluca narrows his eyes. "You'd better not pull anything with that boy, Benedetto." He doesn't mince words. "He's a sex trafficking survivor."

"I'm not." My voice is equally deadly as Gianluca’s. "I'm watching him until we bring him back to his family later this month. Comforting him so he can recover his memories."

Rusty tiptoes over to me. "Don't tell anyone this," he whispers in my ear, "but Arlo and I know you snuggle with Wesley. Don't worry, he likes it. I'd be honest and tell you if he didn't."

Warmth builds in my heart. I think of my conversation with Wesley last week. I definitely got closer to him than I should've, and we snuggled a few times on my sofa watching movies.

But I push the fuzzy feelings down. It's a fool's errand to feel this way, because my brothers are right. This only endangers the mission.

"Thank you, Rusty." I stare into his eyes. "Let's not talk about that right now. We’ll focus on the tour."

Gianluca grits his teeth. "You'd better not be discussing Wesley. He's off-limits."

Rusty shoots his partner a fierce look. "Wesley’s been through more than any of us. We shouldn’t treat him with kid gloves."

Constantine walks over to Rusty. "Start the tour. We can discuss Wesley later."

"Okay." Rusty motions for us to follow him and leads us further into the alley. He points to a giant industrial door between two black fences. "This is where I brought the garbage every day. I rolled it out of the main manufacturing room and dumped it in these bins."

"Where are the bins?" Constantine narrows his eyes.

"Behind the doors. Management told me not to bring the garbage into the alley. They said they had hazardous waste they didn't want any neighborhood children snooping through."

"More like they had illegal drug residue they were disposing of," Gianluca growls.

I nod. "We know that now. Do you have a key to this door?"

Rusty reaches in his pocket. "I'm still on the Diavolos’ payroll, so I have keys to this entire building except the basement."

This perks Constantine up. "I didn't know that."

Rusty shakes his head. "They doubled my shifts after I messaged them before I read my father's cruel email. I have another shift this coming Saturday."

I blow out a breath. "Show us the other doors."

Rusty leads us to the side of the building. "This is where management enters. They pull up in black SUVs and press their index fingers against the lock pads to enter."

"Shit." Gianluca palms his gun. "We won't be able to penetrate that security."

"I’ll put my assistant on it," I say.

Secretly, I know this is a waste of time. My assistant will try to bypass the fingerprint scanner, but the Diavolos likely have top-of-the-line intelligence to prevent anyone else from accessing it.

"It's not worth it." Rusty holds up his keys. "I have the keys for other doors. This is the only door that's off-limits to me."
