Two weekslater
"Oh god." Inessa screams out as I push her head further down into the pillow and pound into her from the back. I can't get enough of her and when she told me that she was happy to wear my mark, I knew that I wouldn't be letting her go, ever.
She's on birth control, so I know she's not in any risk of getting pregnant, but I hope she allows us to change that as soon as possible. I want to get her knocked up right now. We can practice, though.
"Come again. Show me how good it feels." I snap and tilt my hips, so I can get even deeper inside of her.
"I can't. Oh, Zeus! I can't."
"Lies." I grunt out, and I reach around to play with her clit. She bucks against me and her back arches hard as another orgasm rips through her body. Internally, I do a fist pump, but my body continues to race to my own release. "Fuck, Inessa." I moan and after delivering a few more jerky thrusts, I come deep inside of her.
The both of us roll over in the bed, completely worn out and smiling.
"You're going to be the end of me."
"What better way to go." She jokes and I pull her closer to me. My fingers lightly graze the fresh tattoo of my name she has in the center of her chest. She's truly mine.
A distant ringing goes off, and I lean off the bed to fling my clothes around to find my phone. I left it in my pants in order to get inside of Inessa quicker.
Sven's calling me.
"Sven?" I answer.
"Zeus, we need you to come have a sit down with us. We have quite a few things to discuss."
A bit of uncertainty rises in me. Sven nor Luka had yet to call me to the Kosnica so doing so now could either be a good or bad thing. Maybe Marko was back on his feet? Maybe they were going to kill me. You never know with this family.
"I'll be right over." I say, and I feel Inessa's hand grab my arm.
I hang up the phone and turn to look back at my little lamb.
"Is everything all right?" She asks that worry already in her eyes.
"Yes, everything is fine. I have to go have a meeting with my boss. You remember the numbers to call if you don't hear from me, right?" I ask her and she nods. "The church was on the news for a while, but it couldn't be avoided." I shrug, and she pulls me into a deep kiss.
"Do what you have to do, just make sure you come back to me." She pulls the sheet up to her midsection, just below the tattoo. My claim to her.
I lean down and kiss her one final time before I grab hold of my clothes to get dress. I don't know what the meeting will be about, but I hope it doesn't keep me away from Inessa for too long.

The air in the Kosnica is heavy. I don't see as many people walking around down here as usual. I try to keep my fear to a minimum, but this is new territory for me. Marko has been at the head of the family since I've been just a made man. I know nothing else but him.
I walk towards the banquet room we usually have all our meetings and knock on the door. When Luka's voice is the one that tells me to come in, I shake my head in disbelief. That feeling intensifies when I see the display in front of me.
There's no food, just a lonely bottle of Vodka. At the table is Luka and Sven. Seated where Marko should be. On one side standing is Josip and on the other is Kaja. Standing against the wall is Liam Juric taking notes like Josip used to. Everything is changed.
"Wow. This is different." I say.
"It is." Luka says.
"We saw the church on the news." Sven says.
