Tucking her smock between her legs, he hiked her skirts up and pulled her down on his thigh. His guess was right—she rocked against the steel-like trunk of Isaac’s thigh, gasping at the blissful friction it caused.

“God, yes, sweet,” he growledagainst her ear. “Ride me.”

Louisa grabbed unto his arms as she rode Isaac’s thigh, while he kissed her hard. Hismemberwas rigidin his trousers, but he did not care about his satisfaction. He kissed her hard and pulled away to admire her face contorted in pleasure.

Her kiss-swollen lips were parted just so, her cheeks warm red with arousal, and her eyes clenched tight showed the luxurious lashes he loved fanned out on her cheek. He ached to kiss her, but he sacrificed it as he needed to see her gorgeous face and hold it in his mind.

Isaac gripped her knee and hiked it up to his hip; she could pleasure herself even more. Shehung onto his shoulder as her body moved and her face—the motions flashing across itand hitching breath told him that she was nearing completion, and he trained his eyes on her. He could not—would not—miss a moment of it.

Louis started to chanthis name through her bitten lips, her fingers digging into his skin hard, her eyes flyingopen wide, and she came with a wild cry that Isaac swallowed by dropping his lips on hers. Isaac found himself panting with her as he pulled his mouth from her and stared into her dazed eyes.

Pleased, Isaac dropped a kiss on her cheek and softlypulled her leg down from how high it had climbed—up to his back. He fixed her dress and laid back with her, but he shifted to his back and held her right above his heart as she began to drift away.

From time to time, he would kiss across her hairline and whisper a soft endearment into her ear, knowing that she could not hear him, but he did it anyway. Louisa was a peaceful antidote to all the unrest inside him, and when he was with her, the tumult eased more and more.

She worriedabout more than one thing when it came to him and their clandestine relationship—he knew that. Just as he knew that his intentions for her were not as shaded as she must think they were.

Isaac did not care about the rules and prejudices of the ton. Nor did he pay much mind to the whispers and rumors that seemed essential to the peerage’s machinerybecausehe knew what he wanted from Louisa—he wanted to make herhis.

He let her doze for a while before he kissed her awake. “I don’t want to let you go, but it’s late, sweetling. You should get back to your rooms.”

She lifted her hand to cup his cheek, and Isaac felt his stubble against her palm. “You’re a wonderful man; you know that?”

He twisted to kiss her palm. “If you keep telling me, I will believe it.”

Louisa lifted herself from his body and rightened her dress. Isaac found her hair tie and handed it to her while he stood. “I love your hair down.”

She smiled while taking the tie and finger-combing her hair back. “I’ve noticed.”

Before she headed to the door, Isaac could not help but steal one more kiss from her. “Good night. Louisa, sleep well. And remember what I said, hear my soul speak.”

“Good night to you as well, Isaac, and I will remember.” she replied quietly just before slipping out the door.

He went back to the couch and placed a hand on the section they had been resting on, and a smile tugged at his lips. Then, his gaze landed on the bag of perfumes on the table.Thenhissmile was wiped off by a deep frown.

Devil and damn, he had forgotten to give her them—again!
