“I didn’t think my middle name was that funny.” I shake my head.

“No, no it’s not that. It’s just, that is your name in my book. I didn’t realize that was your middle name.”

“What’s your name in the book?”

“Marie.” He laughs and kisses me sending tingles down my spine.

“Shall I show you to OUR room?” I smile.

“Yes!”

Even though I am as happy as ever right now I can’t help but fight that thought in my head that we shouldn’t move in together if we aren’t even saying we love each other yet. I basically professed my love for this man to him earlier and he didn’t say it back. If it feels like we have been together for years, don’t you think he would know if he loved me the way I love him? I try to push the thought away as Dexter and I make our way up the beautiful staircase to christen our new bedroom.

Chapter Twenty-Nine

Dexter was practically using sex to try to get me to sleep over, but I didn’t have any of my things at his home, our home, yet. Ultimately, he won, but I woke up extra early to have him bring me back to the apartment so I could grab my laptop. I’m supposed to work for Christian today, but I got a text from him that I could take the day off today since he was doing the same. I smile down at the text and go to get back in bed with Dexter, but he rolls over as soon as I get the covers over me. He wraps his arm around me and kisses me on the cheek.

“Good morning my beautiful girl.” I turn to face him and kiss him on the lips as I run my hands through his hair.

“Good morning handsome.”

He looks over my shoulder at the time and then back at me with a smirk on his face. I know exactly what he is thinking.

“How much time do we have before you have to start working?” I smirk back at him before whispering in his ear.

“I have all day with you. I got the day off.” He grabs his phone and is typing something, then places the phone back down on his nightstand before coming back to me.

“That’s so weird, because I have the whole day off too.” I shake my head and wrap my arms around his neck to bring him to me.

“Good because we have a lot to get done today mister.”

I go to stand from the bed and Dex goes on his knees on the bed coming toward the edge to grab my waist.

“We have sometime before we need to get everything done, its only seven.”

I smile and kiss his lips softly.I love you.I want to say it, but I’m scared that I won’t get it back and I know that will crush me. The words aren’t that big of a deal if our bodies feel this way about each other when were this close.Right? He pulls me back to the bed on top of him so I’m straddling him. I can feel his morning wood through his boxers.

“So, I actually have to tell you something.” He gets a concerned look on his face, but I lower myself so I can kiss him.

“It’s nothing bad. It’s about the wedding next weekend.” His shoulders relax and he seems calmer now.

“I’m still going if that is what you’re wondering.” I smile down at him as I grind my hips against his erection.

“I know, but I might have told my mother that I would leave earlier in the week so I could have thanksgiving dinner with her before Isabelle’s wedding.”

“That’s fine babe.”

“And I told her that you maybe, possibly would go with me.”

I say it in the quietest voice I could because I know it was rude of me to assume that he wouldn’t want to spend time with his own family on thanksgiving. Before he can say anything, I try to back track.

“You don’t have to come if you don’t want to. I panicked when I told her because I let you slip out of my mouth when I thought we had to be a secret. You probably want to spend thanksgiving with your family.”

He reaches up and cups my face in his hand before kissing me with the most appreciation ive ever felt in a kiss before.

“I would love to meet your parents, Ally.”

“What about your family though? Do they have thanksgiving plans?” He sighs.
