Chapter 25

Ana

He’s silent for a long moment, and when I twist in his arms to look at him, I’m not quite sure how to interpret his expression.

I’m still panting in his lap, still reeling from the suddenness of the desire his touch has spiked in me, and I can still feel him pressed thick and firm against my back.

“I want you,” I repeat, and with slightly trembling arms I push up off his lap and turn around to straddle his thighs so I can look at him. “I want your c-cock, I want—”

I can’t believe I’m stuttering, but in all honesty I’m not sure he even notices as one hand snaps up to grip the back of my neck while the other finds my thigh.

“I want to know what it feels like,” I start once more, when I’m sure I won’t stutter again. “I want to know what you feel like, what it’s like to have you inside me.”

“Ana.” His voice comes out deeper, huskier, and suddenly his face is closer to mine.

“I’ve been thinking about it for days.”

“Have you?”

“I know that you’ll look after me,” I say, and I don’t know why I’m whispering now, or why that seems to make his gaze heat as his eyes flick back and forth between mine. “I trust you. I like you. I just…I want you.”

He lets out a slow breath and leans forward to kiss me gently, almost carefully, as if he’s holding back. But I don’t want to hold back anymore.

“Vahadr,” I say quietly, slipping my fingers into the gaps between his shirt buttons so that I can touch the skin of his chest.. “I…do you want to?”

“Do I want to?” he says in such an incredulous, husky voice, you’d think I’d just insulted him. He’s breathing deeply, his blue eyes dark, and he rests his forehead briefly against mine. “Yes.”

And then he stands up quite suddenly, somehow twisting me in his arms so that he’s holding me bridal style, and I wrap my hands around his neck in surprise as he strides across the room.

“Wow,” I huff, feeling a little sliver of amusement curl up through my chest, mingling with my desire. “I can walk, you know.”

“No.”

And then I notice he’s heading towards the door. “Wait, don’t carry me out like this! The staff might see us!”

He flips open the door, barely even shifting me in his arms. “I don’t care.”

“Vahadr,” I hiss, trying to be annoyed but finding myself suppressing a giggle instead. “What will they think?”

“I do not care.”

As he walks me through his decadent halls, I shove my face into his neck with an embarrassed grin, deciding that if we pass someone, I at least don’t want to know about it. “You’re such a bully.”

“I am not.”

When I start to kiss his throat, his Adam’s apple bobs and his steps lengthen, and when he reaches his room he practically kicks the door open, nudging it firmly shut behind us before striding to his four-post double bed and just throwing me down onto it.

I lie flat on my back and stare at him with a grin, still bouncing slightly on the mattress. “Somebody’s eager…”

He looks impossibly attractive standing tall and broad in the golden afternoon sun, his normally cool skin and hair glowing warm in the light that streams through his windows. I feel a shiver of anticipation run down my spine when his blue eyes dart all over me, as if planning just exactly what he’s going to do.

“If I ever gave you the impression that I was not,” he says almost casually, his fingers deftly unbuttoning the cuffs at his wrist, “then I am sorry for the miscommunication.”

He unlatches his Snap and drops it to his side-table, kicks off his shoes, and then drops a knee into the mattress between my thighs. And suddenly he’s leaning over me, his hips laying gently against mine, and my breath hitches in my throat as my hands snap up to his side.

“Vahadr, I…”

He smiles slightly, and lays a very gentle kiss against my lips.
