“Yeah. I don’t wanna hide, not anymore. I don’t care who knows about us, not anymore.”

His whole body relaxes, and he runs his fingers up and down my spine while just breathing me in. It’s soft, safe and relaxing.

We get to set and are set up in our houses, not filming until later that night, so Landon and I collapse into the small beds in our room, stress and tension having worn us out. My body is just succumbing to sleep when Landon sneaks across the room and lands on top of me on my bed.

“Fuck… what?”

My eyes open and I see him smiling as he stares down at me.

“I love you so much, you know that.”

I begin to smile and am about to speak when he silences me with his lips. The kiss is deep, dirty with everything I love about kissing thrown in and I want to take it further but before we can he breaks us apart, breathing hard.

He sits up on my lap and I watch him with a grin as his chest moves quickly and his cheeks flush.

“I know we have to talk. We need to plan things out and work through the past year before we can move on, but I’m so fucking glad I have you back. I missed you so much, H.”

I lean up, peppering his lips with soft kisses before wrapping my arms around his back and pulling him down to cuddle with me.

My fingers dance up and down his spine as he kisses my neck, my cheeks and my lips softly. Neither of us deepen it. Neither of us need to because right now, we’re content, happy to just have this moment that’s ours and ours alone.

In this little brownstone hut, in the middle of the desert I finally feel whole again, and I want to hold onto that feeling for as long as I can.

Chapter Seven

LANDON

I wake up after a broken sleep where we were filming all night and I’m hot, sweaty and reach out for Hudson to find when my palm brushes to cooling sheets that Hudson isn’t in bed beside me. He was when we fell asleep, but he’s not now. My eyes drift around the room, scanning for him but I already know he isn’t in the room because the room is silent and there are no soft sniffles or breaths breaking the quiet of the warm hut.

My body aches as I push myself up on the bed and pick up a bottle of cool water from the nightstand, stretching and popping my back as my hand slips on the condensation on the outside of the bottle.

The bottle is damp to touch, so I know he’s been in the room recently, but I don’t know where he is now. I can’t remember if he said he was shooting early this morning or not.

My mouth is dry and I swallow down a few mouthfuls feeling the coldness soothing my parched throat and dribbling a little down my chin, shivering as the cold water hits my chest. As I gulp down the water like a dying man in a desert the door to the hut opens and Hudson makes his way inside, drying off his hair. His torso is bare and there’s droplets of water running down his body, drawing my eyes to their path down his abs as my mouth waters.

“Hey, you’re awake.”

He smiles as he comes over and presses his lips softly to mine. The tenderness of the kiss causes my heartbeat to stutter and my hand to shake as it lifts to cup his cheek feeling the warm, damp skin under my palm. My thumb strokes over his soft skin and he turns placing a gentle kiss to my palm as I speak. My body shudders and I swallow around the butterflies that erupt in my stomach at the gesture, making a joke to break the tension around us.

“Yeah, I just woke up. Guess I missed you lying on top of me in bed.”

His smirk makes my insides melt, and I can’t bring myself to look away from his bright jade eyes shining with happiness and love. The fondness in his gaze makes my insides tremble and his dimple appearing as he smiles down at me tells me that he feels so much lighter he is but heartbreaking at the same time that he was so lost without me.

I lift my body up, kissing him again as he moves closer. I wrap my hand in his still wet hair and tugging him closer. He groans against my lips as I bite down on his plump bottom one before he drops to his knees on the bed and kissing me with a ferocity that steals my breath and speeds my pulse. His tongue dances along the seam of my lips, begging for entry and his hips grind down on mine drawing out a loud moan from both of us as our clothed cocks rub against each other.

“Wait, baby… please?” I beg him in a breathless whisper as my eyes roll in my head as his hips push down. We haven’t gone further than kissing because we haven’t had a moment alone to talk about where we’re going or what’s going to happen from here on out.

Greg and Vikki have been hovering. Greg still doesn’t trust Hudson and Vikki doesn’t trust me, so it hasn’t been easy to shake our two watchers enough to find the time to discuss us, our future or what’s happened. Plus, with filming it’s been hard because he’s filming in the early morning and I’m at night.

His lips trace down the column of my neck and my skin prickles with gooseflesh.

“Hudson,” I moan out his name as he grinds down on me and my hands shift down his back, scraping gently against the skin with my nails.

“Please, I need this… I need you…” Hudson begs, and my hips canter up, almost automatically causing my breath to catch in my chest when I feel how hard he is.

His breathless words and how hard he’s rutting against me make my resolve to wait fade and I shift up again, meeting him thrust for thrust. He bites down on the skin on my neck, hard enough that I can feel it, but not hard enough to leave a mark and my hips move up as his roll down.

“Fuck, baby. I want you inside me…” Hudson breaks his words with a loud moan and gasping pants leave his lips as he shifts back to look at me. He opens his mouth just as the door to our hut flies open and Vikki strolls inside without warning.
