Aaron gently grazed his finger down her cheek. “Without you, my life was nice, but now, I’m happier than I ever knew possible. Together, we can do anything.”

“We saved each other.” She leaned forward and kissed him.

“You’re so fucking strong and amazing. I feel so lucky I get to be your husband.”

She smiled dreamily. “And I’m happy I get to be your wife.”

“Do you want to get married again? Have another ceremony?”

She shook her head and climbed off him, snuggling into his arm as she faced him. “I meant every word I said at our wedding.”

“I did too.”

“I’d like to add to it though. Aaron Ridley?”

“Yes?”

“I promise to love you with all my heart. To put your needs as my priority. To communicate with you even when I don’t want to. To honor and cherish every moment we have. And I vow to obey and submit to you—”

His eyes widened.

She smiled. “But only in the bedroom.”

His deep chuckle rumbled in his chest. “I can get behind that.”

“What about you? Do you have anything to add?” Her hand rested against his heart.

His thumb traced her jaw. “All that I am is yours. I will be your protector, your lover, your friend, and the best damn husband I can. And I promise to give you all my truths.”

He kissed her slowly, taking his time, as if he had all the hours in the world. Sensual brushes of his tongue released an electric sensation cascading through her body, igniting the need within her again.

Aaron pulled back, adding a chaste kiss to her nose and then forehead. “You’re my forever.”

The dam in Brynn’s heart exploded with warm gratitude and glowing joy. As her husband rolled on top of her, she parted her thighs, welcoming him in. He slid inside her, rocking as he whispered his vows over and over again. It was impossible to get enough of this feeling. Unbound bliss. All-encompassing love. Transcendental euphoria. Not in a million years would she believe this could be hers to experience. But it was. And she was never letting go.
