“Might hurt a bit the first time.” Really hope not. I want this so badly my lungs hurt. “I’ll go slow, okay? And if you want me to stop at any point, just say the word—”

“Griff.” Luna wraps a cool hand around my cock and it jerks against her palm. A hiss escapes between my teeth as she guides me to her entrance. “Stop fussing. I want this.”

Arms around my shoulders; lavender-scented hair blowing against my cheeks. Heat and wetness and a strangling vice grip on my cock—it’s all a messy, perfect blur.

Luna whimpers and I freeze, my length buried halfway inside her, but then her heels dig into my ass. “Keep going! That was a happy sound.”

“Yeah?” My heartbeat slams in my ears, and I press our foreheads together. Rock my head from side to side as I press deeper, deeper,so far inside my girl that I can feel her pulse too, tripping along faster than mine. “It feels good?”

“Sogood,” she gasps.

Well, then.

I grit my teeth and focus on breathing slowly, in and out. In and out. For the next few minutes, I hold myself in check, and I squeeze Luna’s ass, and I thrust steadily until I’m all the way in, as close as I can possibly get.

“Jesus.” Sweat prickles down my spine. There’s a ringing sound in my ears. “You feeling this, Luna?”

“Uh-huh.” Her hands tremble as they grip two fistfuls of my shirt. Her mouth tugs up at one corner, and she’s staring up at me with so much love, it floors me. “Kind of hard to miss.”

Yeah, no kidding. My life will forever be split into two eras: before this moment, and afterward. Before Luna (BL) and Sweet Fucking Heaven (SWF).

“You sure you want to keep going?”

Her scoff is music to my ears. Then her ankles hook together behind my back, and she yanks hard on my shirt.

“Oh, I’m sure. Give me everything you’ve got.”

Luna

It’s easy to talk a big game, isn’t it? Easy to spout nonsense, eager to impress the heartbreaker of a mountain man currently buried between your thighs, but when he grins down at you with a feral glint in his eyes, that confidence is harder to keep around.

“Careful what you wish for, Luna.” He’s already moving, rocking against me. Shallow thrusts at first, letting me get used to his thick length sawing in and out, then moving harder. Slamming between my legs.

And for a second, the worry creeps in. The paranoia of whether I’m doing this right, whether I’ll measure up, whether my instincts are enough to carry me through.

Then Griff lets out a low groan, his chest heaving as he pounds into me, and he looks at me with so much raw desire that every doubt evaporates like morning mist.

And I must be insane, because I lean back with a wild laugh, feeling the mountain wind in my hair, and I lift my hips. Meet him thrust for thrust. I can do this. It’s easy, when I let it be. It’sright.

And it feels so freaking good that my eyes could cross.

“Jesus,” Griff says again, his voice hoarse. He keeps squeezing my ass, my thighs, my hips; he pinches my nipples and licks my throat. “Fuck, Luna. This is—I could do this forever.”

“We will,” I promise him. “The rest of our lives.”

And though that declaration would scare off ninety nine percent of men, Griff gusts out a breath and fucks me harder, slower, digging inside me like he could plant himself there. Like he wants to leave his imprint everywhere, even on the inside of my body.

“I’ll build you a nicer deck. Your own cabin too, if you want one. However the fuck that quilting machine works, I’ll build you a special cabin to use it in, and I’ll use the best trees for it. The whole thing will smell like heaven.”

I think this is the mountain man version of writing me a poem. Woodwork and forest skills.

“Can’t wait.” I suck a bruise on Griff’s throat, just below his beard. His skin is salty from sweat, and he’s breathing hard from rocking into me, fighting to get closer, practically chasing me back into the truck. “I can’t build you anything, but that blow job’s still on the table. Unless you want a quilt?”

His laugh vibrates through my whole body, and my toes curl behind his back.

Somewhere further down the mountain, a truck engine roars behind the trees, and we should stop this, should get out of sight, should think straight, but we can’t. We can’t. We can’t.
