"That's the plan," I declared. "Only Death won't be visiting until the morning."

That made Neo grin widely, and I could already envision what he had in store for his upcoming masterpiece.

Our psycho blind brother. Ugh.

Viktor nodded and entered the car, and soon we were watching them drive down the street and turn onto the main road.

Neo stretched and turned to look at me. "Wanna run?"

I knew why he wanted to, and it made me chuckle as my eyes darkened.

"Ya. Let's get pumped up for the what's to come."

The fucker is going to wish he died in the ring and not by the hands of the Forbidden.

~NEO~

"I'm not goingto say shit! The moment they know I'm in your grasp, they'll send their goons after all of you and fuck that bitch in the as-"

The cracking sound that was followed with the trickling bounce of something falling upon the floor told me the guy just lost a few teeth. Pausing in my set up, I slowly looked over my shoulder.

"Onyx." My voice was calm but there was warning lingering beneath the name.

"Try calling her a bitch when I'm around, fucker. As if you're worthy enough. Can't even remain conscious from a punch," Onyx growled and spit on the jerk who was actually knocked out.

"I may have anger issues but at least I’ve got patience," Jayce casually said from his spot in the corner, leaning against the wall with Saint.

"I agree, but at least Onyx riles up the dynamic," Saint offered. "Hey, Dimitris? You got what we need?"

Dimitris was sitting in the corner to my right, his eyes glued to his phone as he was clearly contacting his connection. It shouldn't be much longer now, though I was sure from the bits of anxious energy coming off of Onyx that he wanted to hurry up and return to his stalker duties.

Can't blame him.

I was trying not to let myself be distracted from the fight that captivated our attention, but I kept remembering Willow’s drenched body in the shower as she’d pressed against Jayce’s soaked body while they made out tenderly.

It felt like a little secret, even though I had a hunch that Dimitris had caught onto Jayce's flickering emotions. I wouldn't be surprised if Onyx had a hunch of what Jayce did, but at the same time, it felt as if he trusted him to be there for Willow.

Jayce and Onyx were rather similar in terms of their fighting backgrounds, and it could mean his energy was similar enough for Jayce to be a decoy. With how Willow fought earlier in the heat of the battle with no eyesight, I'm sure she would have caught onto the difference though.

Fuck, that was a mesmerizing sight.

I decided to push it all away, knowing I couldn't appease my imagination until work was done. We had a job to fulfill and that started with getting our Willow justice after what this cheating bastard tried to get away with.

"Done," Dimitris announced and looked away from his phone to Onyx. "You can go, Onyx."

He nodded but his energy flickered in an odd way that grasped my interest.

"Wanna see why this canvas is here?" I inquired.

Onyx was quiet, but he finally answered with, "I'm intrigued."

"Cool," I replied. "Stand next to Jayce and try not to interfere when I begin. I dislike interruptions." My words were kinder this time, but he seemed to get my point as he walked over to where Jayce was. Seeing the three of them lined up was as if Jayce were the middle ground between Life and Death.

"Saint." I called upon him for his crafty hands. With his unique usage of fae magic, he was perfect for what I was thinking of.

For my latest creation of gore.

"You need me all night?" Saint inquired. "I wanna know now so I can go piss."
