"What's the glowing shit?!" he snapped, clearly panicking as the glowing energy that cloaked the glass traveled up to the ceiling and covered the floor beneath his bare feet.

Boxed in.

"That's the code to secure the shower so it'll reset," I reasoned and reached out for the candle.

"How long is this gonna take?! We gotta get out of here! Did you think I was joking?!" While he was spitting questions, the fog that previously cloaked the shower disappeared and another pink package was sitting at the drain. The revelation made me smirk as the enjoyment of the others in the pack oozed into my mind.

Even Onyx was amused, though his connection seemed to fade in and out.

Reaching for the candle, I opened the lid to view the brand new, never lit candle. My lips curled further as I presented the candle to the man.

"I thought you said you lit a candle?" The realization that crossed his face as he saw my sly grin made him go onto his knees.

"Fuck! I beg you, man. I’ve only got like two minutes before that shit explodes. Look! This legit is the timer!"

He showed his phone as his hand shook like madness, the counter literally at two minutes.

"Too bad." I sighed. "I wanted to play detective with you. Guess I gotta get straight to the point." Staring into his wild, frightened eyes, I asked the prime question. "Who hired you?"

"I don’t know! Some chick who works for some powerful guy. She's new. A transfer or something. I don’t know where she came from, but she's new in town and has pledged allegiance to some man. I was ordered by the source to deliver this pink package but to not leave it at the door but sneak it into the ventilation system. I tried, but I needed floor plans, which aren't accessible! I was just used! A pawn in this game of chess. It's the bitch's fault. I'm just the messenger! Please, please!"

His begging made me sigh before I lowered the candle and pulled out a lighter and my emergency pack of cigarettes. Pulling one out and lighting it, I used the end of the cigarette to light the candle as I stared at the dismay in the man's eyes.

"At least I got some sort of info from you," I concluded after blowing out the smoke from the toxic addiction. Turning around, I headed to the door.

"Wait! This whole place is gonna blow if you leave!"

"Nah," I replied and looked back to him. "The teal walls are made to survive any type of heat level at any spiked rate. Seeing as you have a perfect candle here, I'll let them know you left it on and all the smoke accumulated was due to such. Don’t worry. We'll make sure your corpse is cremated accordingly so you can reach Hell a lot faster," I concluded. "See ya."

I was out the door and walking down the hall when his final screams hit me before the internal explosion went off and the cries for help were silenced.

I'll let the staff come to check in a few hours.

"Good,"Dimitris replied."We'll take it from here."

My smile was big as I left the suite without a set of fingerprints that linked to my name, and then I took the elevator upstairs to see Willow again.

When I arrived, the two of them were asleep in bed, which left me a bit disappointed until I saw the unopened beer bottle and a small note.

Picking up the note, I chuckled at the written words.

I'm wasted, but you deserve a beer. I want to know you more. That time will come. Soon. Soon. Soon.

That made me smile as I returned to thinking of what just occurred and the consequences this man just endured because he followed a leader and had no back-up plan. Opening the bottle with ease, I took a long gulp of beer and walked into Willow's room to watch her sleep.

Watching her serene expression only confirmed what had to be done, and I knew the others agreed with me.

Don’t mess with the Forbidden, or the consequences will lead to an early grave.

Sweet Rival Of Envy And Royce Down Under

~WILLIAM~

"I'll just usethe second driver today," I offered as I continued to scan my savings account.

"The other driver is a weak fucker." Viktor scowled, which made me lift my head from the screen to give him a 'really' look.

"He's just driving me home. We'll take the black Royce since I only trust you to drive the pink one."
