"Twenty minutes ago? I didn't schedule her in for a meeting FYI. I'll check to see the logs of who did and if a call was placed for it. All inquiries and reservations for meetings are recorded so it shouldn't be hard to track," I concluded.

"Did she threaten you?"

"Aside from saying she'd expose me?" I offered. "Nope. I changed into my female form and told her she wasn't going to do shit. Then I changed back and headed out after she told me to have a nice ride home," I concluded.

"Wait, what?" Dimitris questioned as if I were breaking up.

"I said, she told me to have a nice ride ho-"

The car jolted to the side with so much force my head crashed into the side glass before the middle glass shattered and the driver was grunting and fighting to take control of the Royce. I held onto my scream as we were somehow being pushed by another car that smashed our car and whatever got caught in our way to the left. Suddenly, rounds of bullets began hitting the glass all around until some got through the front shield and the driver was gasping in pain as bullets riddled his body.

Shit!

All I could do was duck - preparing myself to summon my own gun when I got a chance but I quickly shuffled to the middle as both sides of the car squished inward, seconds before we were being pushed right off the bridge.

"FUCK!" I cursed loudly as my whole body was lifted by gravity as the car plunged towards the deep body of water. I didn’t even bother clenching my phone anymore as I used a pinch of magic to get rid of all my valuables to the safest place I could think of.

Including Neo's handkerchief.

I knew if they somehow retrieved this car from the waters, they'd want every bit of evidence, and I couldn’t afford for anyone to grab my belongings.

Gasping for breath, I quickly pressed a button on my smartwatch, the timer clicking into motion before I moved to the left side and summoned a blade that punctured the glass, which shattered seconds before we were crashing into the water.

The impact sent me all the way to the back window. I hit my head once again, groaning before I shook my head, trying to blink away the spinning motion that assaulted my senses.

I suddenly felt the rush of impending doom heading my way, and without delay, I tugged at the strings of my magic to shift me back to Willow while I shielded my body with a cloak of invisibility, a spell Aurelia taught me as a last resort because it quickly drained your magic.

I swam out of the window just in time, my slim body aiding in my swift movement as I continued to swim forward. A muted crushing sound caught my attention, and I saw a massive cement truck crushing the Royce until it was practically nothing.

Blood was already tainting the waters, the driver clearly squished meat. I was completely shocked that we made it down to the bottom of this ocean floor so quickly, which made me realize the driver hadn't checked the boot of the car.

Fuck. We were set up.

I realized I was just in panties and a bra, and the realization brought in the drastic temperature difference that began to plague me. I knew without a doubt that I could hold my breath for a good fifteen minutes if I tried, but the clock was ticking and I knew I wasn’t out of the woods yet.

Must find cover!

I swam as fast as I could, feeling grateful not only to be alive, but also to have fallen in a part of the ocean that had plenty of large coral, rocks, leaves, and other spots to take cover. I had to be smart about this decision. I swam towards a wall of tall seaweed, noticing the dent in the wall and the risen rocks around it that made it a perfect spot to lay low for hopefully a short period of time.

Nestling myself in that very spot, I continued to keep my invisibility in check, and noticed how my phone lit up multiple times. I didn't even notice the vibration, the pressure of being so deep in the ocean smothering out the vibration ability.

Lifting my wrist to view the messages, I noticed that I was getting tons of texts - mostly Dimitris - demanding if I was okay. I rolled my eyes, noticing the streaming blood coming from the side of my head, which made me pout in announce.

Why do I have a feeling that bitch has something to do with this? Just a little hunch.

Using the new camera function on my watch, I took a random picture of me with a thumbs up and somehow managed to send it to whoever had texted me back.

When I’d gotten the watch as a gift, I didn't get why there was a camera function, but I guess it just saved my ass, kinda.

At least if I don’t make it, that pack of sexy assholes will have one last picture of me.

I kept a nervous eye on the timer, debating about trying to make my way back to the surface or not, but the moment I was about to try, I noticed multiple individuals in black scuba gear, flashlights connected to their helmets, as they made their way down to the site quickly.

One look at them gave me immediate bad vibes, leaving me no choice but to duck further down. They inspected all around the squished car, and one of them lifted his hand and gave a thumb’s up sign.

I didn’t realize what I was doing until I had already taken multiple pics with my watch - having taken it off while they searched around the destroyed car for survivors. I sent them all to whoever texted me next, and I began to feel my lungs burn in agony as my craving for oxygen grew.

I could feel death approaching, but I held on to the hope that these individuals were heading back up. I somehow managed to write a last text message on the tiny square screen, knowing I'd carry a bunch of regrets if I didn't.
