"I did. I guess they thought I was joking. People don’t take the blind seriously. Then when we're accountable, they're shocked and simply obey."

"Good tactic," I reasoned as he entered the elevator before lowering me. "How do we get to this place? I'm sure the paparazzi are waiting to see one of my cars or something just in case they assume as usual that William lives in this building."

"They won't see us," he assured me as we headed to the basement.

"We driving in your car?"

"Nah," he replied. "You're riding me."

"So we’re having sex and then you're driving me?"

The elevator doors opened up, but his blinded gaze was totally on me. His expression was unreadable because his lips were in a straight line.

"What?"

"Did that actually make you think we were going to fuck?"

"Yup," I acknowledged.

"Aren't you in the slightest bit worried about having sex with me?"

"Should I be?"

"Every girl who's dated me either died or landed in the hospital," he voiced with a calm voice, as usual.

"Your point?"

"You could die by dating me," he emphasized before he took my hand and tugged me out of the golden box before the doors came to a close. We entered the basement before he led me to a specific door that seemed to lead us to an underground tunnel.

"I could have died in that car accident, but that doesn't stop me from hopping into another car," I reasoned. "Though the private doc and Aurelia said I may deal with a bit of PTSD or some shit, but I could just walk to work if anything."

"We're not letting you walk to work," he muttered as we continued to walk through the dimly lit tunnel. "Also, you should fear me."

"You've never given me a reason to be afraid."

"I could have murdered you in cold blood in the forest," he acknowledged.

"And yet here I am, holding your hand as we walk through this tunnel that could very well collapse and kill us at any moment," I reasoned. "Anything else I should be worried about?"

"My wolf likes you."

"That's nice."

"That's not a good thing."

"Why not?"

"He's worse than me."

"Meaning?"

"One lick and you'll die."

"So I'd be a one-lick wonder," I concluded. "Not a bad way to die."

"Willow."

I paused and tugged his hand so he was forced to stop.
