"Don’t run away then when you see how dangerous I am," he quietly declared as his voice dropped further. "Or else you'll be my next victim and I can't be sure if you'll survive what would be in store for you."

His threat didn't frighten me. It ignited a weird sensation of excitement that would be considered sickening to others.

"Challenge accepted," I whispered against his lips.

It's official. I want them. They'll have to be mine.

Potential Fall On The Full Moon

~WILLIAM~

He's alive!

William, over here!

William De Luca! Do you believe the accident that was targeted for you was due to your recent announcement of resignation?

William, do you believe you're being targeted?

First, it was the bomb incident, and now this car accident! Are you worried, William?!

William! William! Over here, William!

I reachedthe top of the stairs before my fan club, that has seemed to quadruple, was going wild, and I took the moment to wave specifically in their direction with a proud grin before I made my way to the opened glass doors that were now guarded by ten buffed-up security guards.

Two of them opened the door for me, the others following my lead as Viktor accompanied me. The private press was swarming around to try and get a legitimate answer, and I only stopped because my eyes caught upon Saint in a clear disguise as a sexy reporter.

He took advantage of my pause to come right over with his mic, recording device, and recording man, who I soon realized was Jayce.

What are these two fuckers planning?

I couldn’t even dread the idea as Saint began asking me prime questions.

"William De Luca! It's an honor to see you're alive and kicking!" he boomed with a completely different voice that gave off a total 'good guy chirpy vibe' as he got right into it. "Many are absolutely astonished to see you standing here today!"

"Business doesn't stop because you do," I said with pride as I graced them with a hint of a smile. "Couldn’t leave the company hanging, now could I?"

"Your devotion to your father's business is mesmerizing. Many were more shocked to see your resignation. Since then, it seems there's been freak accident after freak accident. Do you believe it's because you're leaving?"

"My departure is a sad one indeed," I began as I slipped my hands in my pockets. "However, I believe it's time for me to venture into some other avenues in this world of business and that starts with me starting fresh with something that could not only inspire the young but create a legacy of my own which others can relate to."

Many of the press were clapping while a few were trying to get their questions answered.

"I'm sure you've heard of the recent executive global deal going on that will be closing in a few short weeks. Will you be one of the applying candidates, and if so, who will be your female lead?"

That made me mentally groan as I envisioned Saint and Jayce grinning like maniacs in their minds.

"I'll definitely be looking into it. I believe I qualify rather nicely for the role and have a group of individuals that fit perfectly to be by my side on this new project. However, it's up to those in power of this new endeavor to be the judges, but I'd be happy to bring my knowledge, expertise, and connections to the table if it benefits the people of New York."

The cheers from outside made me realize that my large fan club had swarmed right to the glass just to listen in on my statements.

"One last question. You know of the recent powerhouses that have landed in NYC and are taking the business world by storm. Dimitris Moore and Neo Rodriguez, to name a couple. Some speculate that you may have a thing for one or the other. Not to mention the rumor that you cross-dress for fun. Is that true?!"

Everyone seemed to be holding their breath as the question popped through the air, and I didn’t even think before I spoke, a power other than my own pushing for me to reply with a devilish smirk.

"In terms of my relationship with Mr. Moore, we're business partners with very similar tastes. As for Mr. Rodriguez, he's a brilliant man and intriguing to know. Not sure if he goes that route in the love game, but who knows. Maybe we could be a thing." I winked and faced forward. "As for me cross-dressing, it was an old hobby of mine. Who knows. Maybe I'll get into it again if my fans would like."

The silence that followed only emphasized the hysteric screams of approval from my fan club begging for me to now cross-dress.
