My assessment was based on my observation of her before my vision faded away. I had to conserve my magic for more dangerous things.

Like seeking revenge.

"I'll get in contact with Viktor once we arrive at the house and wire that money in,"Onyx announced.

"Good. Let's get to work,"Dimitris declared."Hopefully we can make them cave into doing this deal at the end of the week."

He left us with that, and I turned my head slightly to Onyx, as he was clearly observing me by the way his energy was centered towards me.

"What?" I asked.

"Your wolf didn't go wild." He was acknowledging my arrival, which reminded me that he didn't realize Willow had already met my wolf.

"She's met my wolf," I revealed.

He didn't say anything, but I was sure the new information either intrigued him or bothered him. "He likes her," I added.

"Figures," he muttered, but sighed. "Whatever."

"Why are you being kind about the fact that I'm dating your woman?" I inquired, which seemed to be unexpected from the way his aura went up and down.

"There's something about you that connects with her. I can see it sometimes, even when she tries to hide it. You intrigue her in a way, and it's not your disability. There's a connection, one I've acknowledged and am not sure I like."

He turned away and began to walk forward.

"If you don’t like it, why would you approve of me being near her, let alone taking care of her if push comes to shove?"

"You're the calm before the storm," he announced as if it were some sort of fact that was labeled to my existence. "I act on instinct, which makes me blind to certain things. You collect and analyze before you strike. That's a balance someone like Willow needs, and as much as I hate to acknowledge it, out of the four of you, I think you're the only one who could truly understand Willow and what she fights to hide from the world."

He paused before quietly adding, "Someone is triggering her on purpose. We need to figure out why before that trigger is pulled on us."

That's all he said before he walked away with Willow in his arms.

"He's right,"my wolf agreed.

I know...

Without wasting time, I walked after him, but I was trying to figure out a way to help Willow.

She needs to feel acknowledged. Needs to feel amongst us. If she doesn't...we might as well make our caskets. If her triggered anger lands on our side of the court, we're doomed.

"Then the real war comes to light,"my wolf concluded.

I mentally nodded as I followed the single trail of silver that protectively wrapped around the pinch of pink light.

Willow in power is the key to something. What could she unlock?

Not Guilty And Give In To The Desolation

~WILLOW~

"If you thinkI'm going to be a damsel in distress and sit my damn ass down for y'all to do all the blowing up shit, prepare for me to say fuck you and kick your tiny-ass balls!"

Onyx paused in putting on his shirt to actually stare at me as I stood on the bed in defiance with my hands on my hips.

"Are we doing this now?"

"Yes, bulky fucker!" I snapped. "I'm not staying behind."
