Imagine if she were a wolf like us? The possibilities.

"You realize you didn't read this at all, correct?"

"I'm aware," she stated and shrugged. "Onyx wouldn't sign anything that mentions killing me. Seeing as it doesn't, I can handle everything else."

"What if it agrees that we can torture you if you don't follow instructions, lock you up if you're a cunt, and slap your ass if you do something considered wrong enough for such a pitiful beating?"

She frowned and looked at Onyx, who shrugged.

"The last part seemed like a good idea at the time."

"You're a sick bastard." She sighed and pinched her temples. "I already have a headache, but sure. I get I just signed a document that I can't get out of. Cool. Can I at least go back home and nap?"

The others looked hesitant while I looked at Onyx, who interjected. "Aurelia and I will go with her. Chances are, Roberto's going to try and get control of all the cameras in the building. We'll have to contact the head and let him know things have changed."

"Isn't he in ties with Roberto, though?" Willow offered up, and she suddenly looked miserable, as if her head were truly bothering her.

"Do you get headaches often?" I asked instead.

"No," she admitted. "I'm just riled up and still tired. A nap will do. I'm not a weak bitch."

"We got that one," Saint commented, but nodded his head. "You should go get that camera shit checked out. We'll happily explain the deets after.”

"Already got that fixed."

We all turned to the entrance, where the guard stood in a casual black outfit of sweat pants and a t-shirt. His hands were in his pockets while his hair was neatly styled. He appeared as though he’d had plans to do nothing and that had changed.

"I won't even ask how you got in," Onyx muttered. "Did you get the memo?"

"Was here since Willow woke up," he revealed, leaving us uneasy with the fact we hadn't noticed him the entire time.

Willow shrugged while Aurelia shook her head.

"I can see why you were such a sought-after assassin," Aurelia suggested. "Too bad you're getting old."

"Watch it," he huffed, which made Aurelia laugh before she hugged Willow around the neck. "C'mon, bestie. Looks like you got other papers to sign."

"Sign what?" she asked.

"I talked with the CEO of the building about our new circumstances and he merely needs your signature. I suggest we do it promptly before Roberto tries to change his mind with a better offer.”

She nodded with Aurelia, but she looked at us as if she were waiting for permission.

Already learning the ropes.

That ignited a smirk from me that left her in shock as those gorgeous orbs of hers widened to take in my expression before it was gone.

"Go ahead. Onyx and your guard can stay with you."

"Viktor,” she reminded me as if I'd forgotten. I gave her a look before she shrugged and looked at Onyx. "Are you fine with them staying here?"

"Certainly," Onyx replied. "Haven't given me a reason to kill them yet."

"As if you could kill us," Jayce commented with narrowed eyes. Neo crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair. "There are explosives under our seats, FYI."

That caught my attention, as it did everyone but Onyx, who shrugged.

"What better way to start breakfast, don't you think? A little explosion here and there to spread the mood," he reasoned with a devilish chuckle.
