His lips further curled as he reached out to lightly brush his hand along my cheek before trailing his fingers to his bond mark that glowed slightly at his touch.

"Thanks to all of that, I found my Everlasting, so in the end, can I really be angry? Is there a point in questioning the “ifs” and “whats” when I’ve become someone I'm genuinely proud of? I’m confident in who’ve I become, and I feel complete. As long as I carry that sensation in my heart, nothing else matters,” he admitted. “No amount of thinking will change what has already happened, so I embrace the decisions that all those around me made so that I could gather the courage to walk down my path toward domination. I’ve acquired it all now, and I’m about to watch my love do the same.”

"So…it’s okay for me to feel…” I struggled to say it.

“Accomplished? Happy? Complete?” he offered and watched me slowly nod. “You have every right to feel what you feel in this moment, Willow. That overwhelming sensation of bliss is validation that you’ve made it. Everything you endured was desperate to stop you from reaching this moment in time, yet here you are.”

He further pressed against me, and I lifted my head up just as he claimed my lips with a sweet kiss.

"I know you selflessly want to worry about another, wrap your mind about the truth revolving around Aurelia and Auraleia, but I want you to allow yourself to enjoy this one moment. To let yourself embrace this accomplishment with open arms because guess what, my love?” he whispered. “This won’t happen again. You won’t be surrounded by royals of various ranks and levels of power to commemorate and celebrate your ascension into your birthright. Everyone you care about is here to witness this. Your mother, your father, your half sister, and the entire pack. Your destined mates are present, and all those who thought you’d never reach this grand moment are forced to accept your unbreakable perseverance.”

He kissed me again, the movement of his lips even slower while his hands moved down to my hips.

"This is your time to shine, and as your Alpha, I say you should enjoy it to the fullest.”

"So bossy,” I teased but kissed him this time, which left us enjoying a soothing moment.

“You love it in bed,” he muttered between kisses.

“Mhmm.” I wasn’t going to argue with that one. "We need to go, don’t we?”

"Ya,” he replied and yet kissed me again.

“But?” I knew he wanted something.

“I’m trying to calculate how much time I have to fuck you in this dress,” he muttered against my lips, which made me snicker before I purposely pushed him back.

“Nope. I ain’t smelling like sex walking down that runway.” I giggled and watched him roll his eyes.

“You don’t give a shit about that.”

“You’re right, but that’s your possessive wolf pureblood senses talking,” I reasoned with a taunting smirk. “You just want your scent all over me so no one else decides to hop on the pack train.”

"Just because someone joins the pack, doesn’t mean they get to fuck what’s ours.”

“Sure, sure,” I brushed off. "I feel like Mother Moon has other plans with that.”

"Do you want Aura to join the pack?”

“Hmmm.” I hadn’t thought about it. "I want her to join when she’s ready to," I finally answered. "She deserves to feel comfortable first. She doesn’t really know any of us, and honestly, I’m not sure how much she knows about our lively lifestyle.”

"You want my honest opinion?” he offered as he slipped his hand into mine and tugged me to follow him out of the washroom.

“Of course,” I encouraged.

“I think she’s a trump card like Arthur.”

“Really?” I was curious now as he walked me to the vanity so I could get my purse and lipstick.

"We may not know the entirety of her story, but growing up in Faerie as a royal is strenuous from what I’ve heard. It’s one of the reasons why they bring heirs here to grow and be humbled in a mundane world. They use the excuse that it’ll help them be more grateful for what they’ve been blessed with, but there’s a lot more hidden beneath the surface.”

“I can imagine,” I commented as I admired him in his suit.

"You’re not paying attention.”

“I am,” I countered. “Just not on whatever you’re talking about.”

He gripped my chin, forcing my head to look up as he was pressed against me again.
