“Odd to not be around me all the time?” I offered as I continued to hold her in my comforting grasp. She fit so perfectly in my hold; it was beyond relaxing.
"Very odd,” she whispered. “Just like how it feels like things have been chaotic and yet we haven’t fired a gun, seen anything explode, or killed anyone.”
“Are you forgetting the assassins in the garden?” I reminded her.
“They don’t count,” she noted and shook her head. “That was Willa’s kill.”
This woman is hilarious.
"So it doesn’t count because you didn’t think of using the blood roses to lead them to their doom.”
“Yup. Exactly that.”
"My Sweetness is a wild one,” I muttered against her flesh as I lightly kissed her shoulder.
She shivered at my touch, and I felt her fight against her body’s urge to arch further into my hold.
“Did you miss my touch?”
“Very much,” she muttered. “Though Dimitris would be pissed if your scent was all over me and not his.”
“He had his chance,” I dismissed, knowing I’d truly piss off our Alpha if I went against his “better” judgment. “If this wasn’t such an important event, I’d override my Alpha’s orders if it meant I get to fuck you in this dress.”
“It seems you all are enjoying the sight of this dress,” she pointed out.
“You don’t understand how sexy it is on you,” I praised. “I don’t care how much Arthur prices it. This is gonna be kept in a glass box.”
“In a museum?” she offered.
“In my studio,” I corrected and enjoyed the way she giggled.
“Why am I not fucking surprised,” she bickered. “You need the sight for motivation, don’t you?”
“I need it so whenever I lose a glimpse of my sanity when enjoying a killing spree, I’m reminded that I need to return home at a decent hour so I can fuck you nice and slow.”
“Good to know,” she hummed seductively back at me. “Your art show was moved, right? You were supposed to have one around Christmas.”
“Mhmm,” I answered. “We decided on an alternative, seeing as NYC is still kind of in shambles. We’re going to have to check in on our enterprises and everything else pack-wise tomorrow if we don’t sleep in.”
“Oh, we’re so sleeping in,” Willow reasoned, and I knew exactly why we would be.
"Only if I get my way with both of you.” My husky voice taunted her ear, leaving a trail of goosebumps along her skin while she quivered at what I was offering for this celebration night.
“You shouldn’t make promises you can’t keep,” she pointed out.
“Why would I go against my word?” I countered. “Unless you told me you weren’t in the mood, I see no other reason as to why I wouldn’t fuck you senseless and bang William as well.”
“You’re so confident,” she muttered more to herself. “William is such a top.”
“Dimitris warned us about that,” I acknowledged.
“He warned you?” Willow gasped and leaned her head all the way back to press against my chest. “The male me isn’t that bad.”
“You have a bit of Roberto’s qualities in you except I’m actually frightened about what you’d do with it if you acknowledged the power you carry.”
“If I acknowledge how powerful I am, all I can see is a cocky William with Dimitris lecturing me about how I can’t dominate all of you in bed.”
“Well, you do enjoy a bit of a challenge,” I noted. “Though, I believe you could dominate everyone.”
