"Y-Yes, King Amos! I will ensure the message is delivered!” she stuttered and bowed like she wasn’t pressed to the floor already. “I’ll return with confirmation at your new location.”
“Good,”he complimented.“You’re dismissed.”
"Thank you, King Amos.”
With an abundance of bows, she opened the door but lingered there for a few seconds as Dimitris, Neo, Jayce, Saint, Viktor, and Arthur arrived.
They gave her intrigued looks but proceeded into the room before she dismissed herself.
“So, how bad is this news?” Dimitris took the lead in asking the question that was on all our minds. His aura changed just slightly as if reacting to King Amos’s presence.
King Amos took a deep breath and let it out slowly. I was sure he was trying to get his irritation out because the intensity brewing in the room decreased drastically.
“The rulers of Faerie finished their investigation in regards to who insinuated the magical retrieval and exchange of Fae magic between Willow and me,” he announced, the previously authoritative tone in his voice now gone.
We all tensed up at the news, knowing this could potentially change a whole lot of things in such a crucial situation with Roberto’s looming death.
"The individual is already in custody and their punishment will be public execution before the royal leaders that we witnessed today who sat across from us during the runway show.”
“They already have the culprit?” I asked.
It didn’t make sense to me. It was too fast.
"That was fast.” Arthur sounded a bit hesitant as he glanced around us before staring at King Amos. “Y’all have special Fae Secret Services or something?”
“No,” King Amos muttered and let out another sigh. “The individual they found guilty of treason and who may potentially be the Vile Queen herself is…”
He paused simply to stare at all of us before revealing the ultimate truth.
“Aurelia Delianna Clementine.”
