“My energy?”Arthur sounded confused.
“You’re nervous,”Neo pointed out.
“I’m not used to being in wolf form for just…”Arthur trailed off but Loki decided to finish for him,“For fun. The Vile Queen never let us use our wolf forms just for anything. There was always a purpose to it, which makes this feel rather odd in comparison.”
“Well, you’re not going to be in the Vile Queen’s clutches anymore,”Onyx stated confidently.“I’m sure it’ll take you guys time to adjust, but we’re going to fight hard to keep things this way.”
“Agreed,”Neo commented.“We should take advantage of this moment while we can. Who knows when we’ll get to shift again with the lingering verdict against Aurelia.”
The mention of her name made me pout before I howled impatiently and nudged at Arthur.
I didn’t want to talk about anything.
I wanted to play, run, and frolic!
“Clearly, Willow isn’t interested in talking right now,”Viktor voiced, which made me excited to be supported.
Lightly tapping Arthur’s nose with my paw, he watched me for a few more seconds before he gently nudged my face with his.
“WOOF!” I beamed and tackled him without delay.
“How is she so strong?”Arthur whined and managed to knock me off of him.
Only for me to crash back into him again.
“Willow is still considered a new pup if you think about it,”Saint noted in amusement.“Plus, we haven’t shifted and run much in wolf form. She clearly can hear us, but she doesn’t really pay much mind to us.”
“She gets lost in the freeing sensation we enjoy when we’re in our wolf forms,”Jayce acknowledged.
"I can’t blame her. It’s a nice break from reality if you ask me,”Milo noted.
I howled and rolled in the grass before I abandoned Arthur and went straight to tackling Loki in three seconds.
“OOMPH!”
“Shit. Sugar? How the hell did you move that fast?”Onyx questioned me but I ignored him as I was on a rubbing spree with Loki.
Rub. Rub. Rub.
"She really loves rubbing herself all over Loki, huh?”Neo noted.
“I’m envious,”Onyx grumbled, which had Loki laughing while easily pushing me off him.
“Clearly, Sweets likes me more in wolf form,”he commented.“Plus. She enjoyed our moment together.”
“What moment?”Onyx dared to ask and Arthur was howling happily.
“Oh, you didn’t hear the two doing the freaky in the washroom before she astral projected them to someplace in the sky or whatever?”
“What?”I guessed the others had no clue.
“So you were awake,”Loki muttered.“Such a nuisance. I should have paid for your silence.”
"I agree. A little bribing wouldn’t get your ass chased by your own pack,”Arthur hummed.“Sweet Domino! Come back here. Let’s play.”
The word ‘play’ got my attention and I yelped happily, crashing into him the next second.
Not only did he manage to recover quickly from my attack, but he playfully fought with me for the next seconds, which left me feeling far too hyper.
