ABSOLUTE LOYALTY AND BOW DOWN BITCHES: PART THREE

~WILLOW~

“Okay. Maybe we can reconsider him joining the harem,”Bria suggested as she continued to stare with wide eyes and a parted mouth.

Her eyes were just as glued as mine — darting in whatever direction gave us the full view of madness that was transpiring before our own eyes.

Only if he could whip me like that in bed thank you very much.

At this rate, I wouldn’t be able to pick my damn jaw off the floor because I was too stunned to speak as the fight was still raging on — Beta Malachite beating the living shit out of Garfield.

With a whip. A fucking whip.

When everything began, Garfield ensured he had the advantage by pulling every trick in the book. Elemental attacks, combative strikes, combinations of karate, and even creating weaponry to further assist him in getting the advantage.

One thing I’d worried about was how Malachite would maneuver himself in such a small ring, especially when he was rather massive in size and muscle mass, but my concern was simply a waste of time for this man could almost move faster than me in wolf form yet did it with such grace I honestly wondered if he hid some Pureblood qualities of some sort.

He was even more attractive in just black shorts, and I noticed how the beads of sweat ran down his chiseled body and how his hair clung to the sides of his face. The aura that danced around his body reminded me of a dragon enjoying the wrath of soldiers trying to take it out with everything they had, but like the flying beast with impenetrable scales, nothing Garfield was doing was making a dent in the Beta.

Fuck, he didn’t even look tired!

Despite the sweat, the man was breathing calmly while his eyes simply followed everything Garfield was pulling to try to take him out. Whatever deal he’d made with the Vile Queen was really beginning to weaken him, clearly taking effect throughout the battle as more of the black contaminant spreading across his skin continued to eat his flesh.

It was making him move rather sluggishly in comparison to when he first began the fight, but I didn’t carry an ounce of pity for him.

In fact, he probably was getting things easier than his twin brother.

His outcries from each lashing strike were only encouraging the Beta to whip him even harder, blood shooting out through the ring and staining the ground below. Some watched in horror, others looked pleased to witness the merciless delivery.

I stood in the corner of the ring within the barrier still holding Jayce's sweater. I knew the rest of my pack was now here and witnessing the madness in the crowd behind me. I’d briefly noticed the woman in the background, her similarities matching the woman who’d been opposite Jayce during the runway show.

One look told me she had something to say, which was why I encouraged Jayce to follow and confront her. I was glad it wasn’t a trap, and from the triumph that rested on his face as he returned with Viktor, Saint, and Arthur, I had a strong feeling he was able to confront one of the obstacles that had been plaguing his conscious for years.

The final whipping lash sounded like a bolt of lightning struck the man’s flesh, crippling him to the ground as he crumbled with a scream. He fought to get up, but his back was literally wide open and bleeding profusely, which was well-deserved but totally gruesome to watch.

I still felt no pity for him.

He was lucky he was fighting Malachite and not someone like Neo.

I’d love for him to experience a lovely painting session with Neo. I’m sure he’d be doing more than just screaming in agony.

“TIME!” Alpha Memphis’s voice boomed through the ring, igniting cheers from the pack that was now getting real riled up at the sight of two wins. I guessed whatever doubt Felicia was trying to instill in them was beginning to filter out of their minds.

Though that didn’t mean their loyalty was absolute, which was what I was going to fix with my fight.

“Malachite wins this match, meaning he’ll remain Beta of De Luca pack!”

The relief in the room was actually palpable, and frankly, I didn’t blame them for being so pleased that their Beta would be the same. Beta Malachite had been around for a while, and though I hadn’t paid much mind to him or been around seeing as I hated associating myself with pack stuff when I was younger, he’d clearly earned their loyalty and respect.

That was someone I needed at my side when I’d have no choice but to rise to my new role as Alpha.

“The loser will be sent to my dungeon for safekeeping until you decide what you wish to do to him,” Alpha Memphis declared and glanced over to me for confirmation. I simply bobbed my head before catching Garfield’s panting laughter.

“You think y’all won? Blind fools,” he mocked and shook his head in a manic way. “You should fear what’s coming. Do you think your little pack can face it? My loyalty is with the Vile Queen. She’ll fuck you all up. Burn you all in eternal flames. You’ll beg for her mercy!”

He coughed and laughed, but I was surprised to see Malachite walk over to him until he crouched down to his level.

“You’re but discarded waste to her and yet you’re here defending her name as if she sees you like a knight in shining armor.” Malachite sounded sorry for the guy. “It’s a shame that you carry loyalty to someone who’d forget your existence in a few short days. You’re replaceable to her and yet you’re willing to ensure suffering in her name.”
