I caught onto Onyx’s eyebrow raise as his voice hummed through the pack bond.

“Which involves interrogation,”Dimitris brought up, which already sounded like bullshit.
“Which then brings me in it all because what’s interrogation without a bit of torture and well, I gotta make sure these douches are alive for a few rounds of fun,”Saint brought up with pride.
“I get to come by default!”Arthur surprisingly brought up.
“I’ll be there to move the bodies to the freezer for later, so I can always ensure Sweets is fed properly,”Loki suggested.

“As well as a rejuvenating dip in the lagoon. The magic boost will further empower you,”Milo also offered.
“Then you’re mine for the rest of the night?”We all took a second to acknowledge Amos’s voice, as we were still adjusting to him officially joining the pack.
“Which leaves my dear brother at the end of the line,”Loki concluded.
Arthur’s laughter bounced through our minds as he added,“I bet Malachite has a better chance at getting ahead in this line for our Sweet Domino’s utmost affection.”
Speaking of the Beta himself, I sensed his presence behind me, which was why I turned around to see him standing there as he was specifically eyeing my hair in particular.
“Tomorrow morning at dawn. We should schedule a pack run in Roberto’s honor,” he declared, which seemed to quiet the room as he unexpectedly reached out to gather my hair in his hold before he easily tied it in a bun.
The move was completely unexpected of him, and yet it seemed as if it was something he’d done plenty of times throughout the years. The gesture really left a deja vu feeling in my mind, and maybe it showed on my face because he paused in perfecting the bundle of pink hair to meet my questioning gaze.
“There are plenty of things Roberto was forced to hide from you,”he stressed.“You’ll be forced to discover them, step by step, but it’ll make you realize that there are a lot more people in your corner, cheering you on. Even if you weren’t allowed to acknowledge their existence until you finally awakened.”
I mentally nodded in return as I replied to his previous suggestion.
“Sure. It would be in his honor to do something to commemorate him with those who are confident in his rulership.”
“Guess that means Onyx is last on the list,”Arthur concluded.“We’ll just make sure he gives her breakfast or else he won’t get time with Sweet Domino until after the new year with how slow his reaction time is.”
“I do not have a slow reaction time!”Onyx complained.
“Right, right.”Arthur obviously didn’t care.“We’re coming back, Willow.”
