“You kidnapped me!” I yelled at Pyro. Pyro stopped trying to grab me, and I concentrated on not tipping over with the bike.

“What’s going on?” Chance growled, not looking happy.

“Your asshole brother kidnapped me!” I spat before Pyro could say a word.

“Yeah, well, princess, I’ve been looking for you for a while,” Pyro retorted.

“Don’t call me that!” I yelled at Pyro, who grinned. Gah, Dakota used to call me princess as children, and it irritated me then.

“Nah, ain’t so much a princess anymore. Hellcat is more like it!” Pyro gloated. Chance and Diesel’s heads were swapping between us like a tennis match.

“What the fuck? Pyro, you can’t kidnap one of Magic’s girls. Magic will have your balls fried and shoved down your throat!” Diesel warned.

“And I’ll help!” I snapped, agreeing with Diesel.

“Try it, princess! You and me gonna talk,” Pyro replied. Screw kicking Pyro in his shins. I wanted to nut punch him. A wicked grin crossed my lips as the image of Pyro on his knees hit me. Pyro wisely stepped back at the evil glint in my eyes.

“Touch me, and I’ll scream the forecourt down. Take me back to Magic and stop calling me princess, asshole!” I demanded.

“No way, princess. And I prefer Domineering Dakota. Especially if it means I’m the boss of you.”

“I will kick you so hard in the balls that you’ll speak like the bitch you are, Dakota!” I threatened, and he threw his head back and laughed.

“Holy fuck, that’s Janey!” Diesel said, finally catching on. His and Chance’s heads were still flipping between us.

“Yeah, think I’m getting that. Damn, Janey’s been under our noses for six months?” Chance asked in amazement. I sent Chance a snotty glare, which distracted me from a set of hands lifting me off the bike. Unamused, I struggled against the iron bands holding me in place until my feet touched the floor.

“Tiny, you traitor! You can kiss your special whiskey goodbye at Magics!” I blasted the big man. Tiny winced and stepped back, and no sooner than he did, Pyro swooped, and I was thrown over a shoulder. I bit Pyro’s ass this time, making him yelp, and he slapped my butt as we entered the clubhouse. Growling and muttering threats, I dug deep and grabbed Pyro’s boxers, giving him a wedgie. Pyro yowled like a scalded cat, and laughter broke out. He dumped me on my feet, and I darted away. When Pyro’s gaze met mine, retribution shone in his eyes. Forewarned, I raced around some furniture, placing it between us as Pyro stalked towards me with all the grace of a big cat, and I was his prey.

“I’ll nut punch you!” I yelled a warning, but Pyro didn’t hesitate. Pyro launched himself over the sofa I was hiding behind. Hands grabbed me as I tried to run, and before I knew it, Pyro’s mouth slammed onto mine. Holy fuck. Pyro’s mouth crashed against mine, and his hands hauled me against his body. I felt every hot, sexy inch of him as Pyro kissed me stupid. Damn, I’d never been kissed like this, and I pushed into Pyro’s frame, locking my hands around his neck.

Pyro’s fingers twisted in my hair, holding my lips to his as he opened the kiss and sent shivers straight down my spine. Heat pooled between my legs, and I moved even closer to Pyro, a whimper escaping as my nipples hardened for attention. Pyro’s cock stiffened against me, and I felt the heat through our jeans. I relaxed into Pyro’s arms, letting him control the passion he was building. Only we two existed in the entire world. Nothing existed outside the feel of his mouth against mine. Pyro ended the kiss and gazed into my eyes, and a soft smile crossed his face.

“Now that I’ve got your attention, Hellcat,” Pyro said and swung me back over his shoulder. For a few stunned moments, I wondered what the hell was happening.

“Dakota!” I shrieked as I was carried out of the big room and down a hallway. Pyro kicked in a door, entered a room, booted the door shut and leaned against it. Angrily, I flew at Pyro, and he held a hand out and shit, his arms were longer than mine. Refusing to look the fool, I lurched backwards, crossed my arms over my sensitive breasts, and just… glared.

“Nice to see the real Janey, not that fuckin’ mannequin that came six months ago,” Pyro said. I pursed my lips and continued glowering. Pyro did not seem bothered by my death stare.

“Silent treatment Janey? That won’t work; you were always too mouthy!” Pyro prodded, and I lifted an eyebrow and maintained my silence. Librarian Janey had learned a lot over the years, and I knew when to keep my mouth shut, which was one of those times.

“Need anything, brother?” Shotgun shouted through the door.

“Nah, I’m good!” Pyro called back.

“Yeah, saw that,” Shotgun laughed, and Pyro chuckled. I intensified my death stare and made a mental note: Shotgun was in my bad books.

“How big is that list you’ve got going on in your head for payback?” Pyro snickered. Screw him, I answered with an eyebrow lift. “Janey, come on, talk to me, Hellcat. Honestly, I’ve been worried about you.”

“When did you realise who I was? Because you certainly didn’t when I was in the hospital,” I fired and scored a direct hit.

“Lio found out a few weeks ago,” Pyro rubbed his face.

“So, you didn’t recognise me. Just some random woman shot on Hellfire’s forecourt who you forgot,” I sniped, and Pyro shook his head.

“No, I never forgot you. Wondered who the fuck you were and why you were shot every day, Janey. Hellfire has been trying to find you since you escaped from the hospital. But there was no trace of you, and now we know why.” Pyro’s gaze raked me from head to toe. “Far prefer this look, Janey.”

“Good for you,” I grumbled. Pyro smiled again and strode forward. He took me in his arms, and although I stiffened, I didn’t stop him.
