I take another deep breath as we make our way down the stairs, trying to focus and rein in my raging libido. No matter how beautiful I find this woman to be, she’s here to take care of my nephew, not to warm my bed.

Can’t she do both?

What the hell is wrong with me? Morgan called the agency to find a woman to help keep Enzo occupied while he was out of school over the summer, but she hinted at wanting there to be something more. Could it really be that simple? I’ve hopped from woman to woman for so long that maybe it’s time for me to settle down. To find the person I want to spend the rest of my life with? Who the hell am I kidding? It seems I’ve already met her. Before now, my only focus was the Fiorentino Vineyard, but now all I can think about is making this angel mine forever.

“Hey, there you are.” A bright smile crosses her face as her eyes lock in on Enzo. “I hoped I didn’t scare you away.”

My feet move on autopilot as I head toward her, noticing that she’s shifting from side to side, more than likely nervous. I can’t blame her. I would love nothing more than to mold my body around hers, lifting her into the air and grinding my cock against her warm center. I want to let every fucker here know who she belongs to, but I get myself under control, remembering that my nephew is only a few steps in front of me.

“No,” he responds, coming to a stop directly in front of her. “I don’t scare so easily, but my uncle seems to have taken a liking to you.”

“Oh, has he…” her voice trails off as her eyes roam my body. Not bothering to hide the fact she’s checking me out. “There are definitely worse things.”

Is she flirting with me?It’s been a while, but I have a feeling that this girl is going to be trouble.

“Hello, I’m Giulio, and this little rascal here is Enzo.” I smile, giving him a small noogie and putting him in a headlock.

“Hi, I’m Maya.” She smiles brightly before turning her attention to my nephew. “Well, don’t you look just like your dad?”

An uncomfortable silence falls across the room as Enzo pulls from my grasp and wraps his arms tightly around his waist. “He’s not my dad. My dad is dead.”

Her eyes widen in surprise as they flick between the two of us. “I’m so sorry. The agency said nothing about…” her voice trails off as she slams her hand over her mouth.

“It’s okay. His dad and I are, I mean were twins.” I give her a reassuring smile before turning my attention to Enzo.

“Why don’t you grab Maya’s bag and take it to the guest room while I show her around the house?”

Enzo nods slightly before grabbing her bag from beside her and making a beeline for the stairs.

“Way to stick your foot in it on your very first day, Maya.” She chastised herself, probably unaware of the fact that I can hear her.

“It could’ve been worse.” I chuckle. “You could’ve had no idea you were coming and not sent anyone to the airport to be there when you arrive.”

Her cheeks and neck turn an interesting shade of pink.I wonder how far down it goes.

I give my head a small shake before taking a step toward her. Her floral scent envelops all my senses. “I’m sorry that no one was there to meet you. My cousin told me you’d be arriving tomorrow.”

“Oh, it’s no problem. I managed just fine,” she says cheerfully before tripping on something and losing her balance.

My arm wraps around her waist, pulling her tightly into my chest. I fight back a groan as her tits brush against my stomach, her head tucking almost perfectly under my chin.

“I’m so sorry! I’m so clumsy,” she squeaks as she steps out of my embrace and our eyes lock.

There are two things I know at this very moment. First, whatever I thought life was before this moment means nothing. There was nothing before this moment, right here with Maya in my arms. Second, she may have come here to be my nephew’s au pair, but she is going to be so much more.

“I’ve been looking for you,” I mumble and her eyes widen in surprise.

“I’m right here,” she stutters, and I can’t help but chuckle.

Her eyes widen in surprise as she struggles in my arms, and I pull her tighter into my chest.

“Welcome home,” I respond, nuzzling my nose into her neck.

I can see the rest of our lives playing out in my mind. Our wedding, Enzo heading off to his first day of high school, and her round with our child. Each vision is a little more real than the last. I want all those things and so much more from Maya after only speaking to her for a few moments. I know it’s insane, but I’ve never been surer about anything in my entire life, other than agreeing to be Enzo’s guardian.

A plan forms in my mind of how to get Maya to fall in love with me and my nephew, ensuring she never leaves our side. I thought my life was complete before, but now I know in my heart that was a lie. I must make this girl mine, tying her to me in every way possible, before the end of this summer.

“You’re fired.”
