“How do you do it? You have three mates.”
“We take each day as they come. If you’re talking about sex, it doesn’t have to be full on orgy or group sex all the time. I love my one-on-one times with my men.”
I thank her before we talk about what’s coming, I fill her in on what Lilith has told me and she promised to be here within the next few months. I smile when I hear her voice get sleepy again, so I let her go.
Talking with her has helped some, she’s right, I need to take this day by day and be the man, the vampire, that Raven needs.
Chapter 9
Raven
After having a quickshower to wash Ryder off my skin, Dagan took over. Now lying in bed with a layer of sweat coating our skin I feel at peace.
Two mates, soon to be four. How did I get here? I still can’t believe this is my life. One man is hard enough but I’m to have four of the most powerful supernaturals in the world, that’s bound to cause some tension between us all.
Especially their alpha tendencies. I’ve noticed it with Ryder while we were making love, and Dagan when we’ve had our talks. If the other two are anything like that, I’m in for some trouble. I hate when a man tells me what to do, in the bedroom that’s perfectly sexy, but in real life, I have a feeling that it’s not the men who will be fighting each other.
I feel different now, like my body is humming. Maybe that’s my powers? “You okay?” Dagan asks me.
“I was about to ask you that, how are you taking all of this?” I ask him, wanting to know how he feels.
His body tenses slightly at my touch, “It’s not something I ever thought of to be honest. I don’t like the idea of sharing, but knowing I have to share you now and witnessing it, well, I’m a little more open to the idea.”
“But it’s not an idea, it’s happened and will continue to happen.” I point out.
“That’s true, I don’t have to like it, but I have to live with it and in time I’ll get over it. But one thing I’ll ask, when it’s just us, I want it kept that way.” He practically growls.
I smirk, there’s my alpha. “Of course, instead of sister wives, it’s brother husbands.” I try to keep my face neutral, but a smile breaks free.
Dagan bursts out laughing. “Let’s get you showered again so we can get something to eat.”
We make quick work of the shower and head out of his room to find Ryder so we can get something to eat.
We find Ryder in the study, reading. “Hey.” I call out to get his attention.
He smiles when he sees me and shuts his book. He comes over, pulling me from Dagan and his lips crush down on mine. I moan into his mouth, wanting more but he pulls away. “That’s how you say hi to me from now on.”
