Panting hard, my headon Ryder’s chest, I feel content. Yes, I’m missing Dagan right now, but being in the now with Ryder is out of this world. I didn’t think I’d ever find someone for me, let alone two. Well technically four but I don’t know anything about them yet.
“What’s got you thinking so hard?” He asks me, his hand running through my hair.
“Just wondering if this is real. It’s never been like this before. I love being with you, being with Dagan, it’s all so different. I never thought I’d find myself tied to one man forever, let alone four. It’s just a lot to take in.”
“It’s real all right, and trust me, all of this will take some getting used to. I never thought I’d be sharing my mate, but I have to say, I’m not opposed to it. Dagan is the one I figured would be the hardest to crack, but he’s proving me wrong at every turn here.”
“What about my other two mates, do you know them?” I lift my head to look at him and he smiles.
“I know them, not very well but I know them. I’d tell you about them, but it would defeat the purpose of you getting to know them on your own.”
He’s right, I suppose. Would just like more of a heads up, at least I got Ryder’s name before I bedded him.
“I suppose we should get out of bed now. Want to go do something fun?” I give him a wicked smile.
Raising a brow, “What do you have in mind?”
“I was thinking a date, a real one, maybe walk amongst the grounds with a picnic basket?”
He grins me a sexy grin that has me wet again, “I love the sound of that, but first I think I need to take care of you again if your smell is anything to go by.”
I give him a wink and rush out of the bed, stumbling slightly on the blankets and rush into the bathroom, Ryder hot on my ass.
Oh yes, I can definitely get used to this life.
