Dagan
Ipace, I woke up alone, Raven’s side of the bed cold. The door magically locked. I know she’s going through her transition and meeting her second mate, and I can’t help but feel jealous. Jealous and angry. Angry at the fact that I couldn’t be there for her through this. And jealous that I have to start sharing Raven before we really had a chance to get to know each other better, outside of the dungeons.
The house is quiet, so quiet that it makes me wonder if everything is okay. But then, my door opens, letting me out. Rushing out I transform and take off towards Raven’s scent. Her arousal is obvious. I pause, do I really want to see what I’m about to see? I don’t have a choice, manning up, or should I say wolfing up? I continue on my path; I need to see that Raven is okay.
There, in the middle of the clearing I see her, hair spread around her on the grass. Ryder, king of the vampires pounding into her, her moans of ecstasy calling out. I should feel jealousy in this moment, but I don’t. I see her face, a face I recognize from having her to myself. Watching her get off is hot as fuck. I should let them have their privacy, they’ll be back to the house soon enough, then we can all sit down and figure out how this is going to work between us.
Rearranging myself in my pants I head back to the house only to find Lilith waiting for me.
“Dagan my dear, you shouldn’t have gone off like that.”
“I wanted to see for myself that she was okay.” I tell her.
She purses her lips. “Are you sure that’s all it was? We can’t have you men fighting before the war, jealousy is bound to happen, but it must be push aside for the greater good.”
“I’m not jealous.” I state, shocking even myself.
“Good.” With that she walks back into the house, and I follow suit and head up to my room.
Why am I not jealous of what I just witnessed? She should be mine and mine alone. But she’s not. The thought of her with anyone else kills me a little inside but seeing her with my own eyes with Ryder, fuck that was hot.
